Boring as batshit...almost as bad as last year's.

I think it might be time to retire the Monaco GP ... just keep it for the FIA presentations etc.  but not for competition.

They made a mandatory 2 pit stop rule this year. Teams have to change tires twice. That handed the race to McLaren. These are the biggest F1 cars of all time and passing isn't easy in Monaco. Still I'd rather watch F1 then Indy car racing. All the car chassis are the same in Indy racing. They have a choice of two different engines. F1 is far more interesting than Indy car racing.

Myself one of my best friends was from Indy loved the 500 and being raised on US Army Bases in the south US had more NASCAR fans than I could count.

Me, never was much into watching cars go round and round in circles or in the case of GP drive thru city streets. Then that is what I did for a living.

Drove trucks through city streets or on 500-mile round trips.

Unlike the Race Drivers, and yes, I know about the time trials for post position, I did those 5 days a week rain or shine or snow.

Yet, It would be sad if those events were not there for you that do wish to watch.

I attended the 500 twice in the early 80's. I went to 3 F1 races a couple years before going to the 500.  I was fortunate that I was able to see Mario Andretti race the year he won the F1 championship.

The 500 is an event that anyone who loves racing should go to. With all that's going on there it's a spectacle you will remember. The thing that sticks in my mind about the 500 is that it's a gigantic party more than anything else. Some people I went with didn't even know who won or who the drivers were. I think that applied to a lot of people there. The F1 crowd seemed more focused on the race.
