What has become of lifetime licenses? Can I still get a lifetime licenses?

Hi I would like to know what has become of the lifetime licenses? Can I still get a lifetime licenses for Object Desktop? 

I do not believe in paying for subscription plans for software!!!

I only like buying lifetime perpetual license planes that I can upgrade if and when I see it is needed to keep my software up-to-date and compatible with new Windows versions. Or if I see that the new software has great new features that I want than I may go-ahead and upgrade the software earlier. But paying a subscription fee that comes out automatically is something I absolutely hate!!!
