openshell text always getting black

unable to include even in the exclusion list

I love to use openshell, a little bit more than Start11, but I wanted to keep using the WindowBlinds and this is a dealbreaker to me, I was somehow even unable to add this one into the exclusionlist and the text is always dark with the wrong shadow.. without windowblinds the text in the pointed below is white, somehow windowblinds turn them into the opposite.

Moved to Windowblinds area

Unfortunately, your problem is related to using two apps which were not designed to work together. As other users have noted, Start11 and OpenShell don't play nicely together, because they operate on the same target part of the GUI. Basically you're going to have to choose between Start11 and OpenShell.

Unfortunately OpenShell does not use the theme apis in the same way Windows 7 or Start11 do.  This causes issues like this.

Actually, I have been able to set Open Shell Start Menu color, by using the Modify Style -> Change System Colors ...
The color to set is "Color 0" ...

See enclosed images, where I set Open Shell Start Menu color to bright green.
This is on Windows 10, with WB10 ... haven't tried it on WB11, but it *should* use the same color options...

Here is the settings menu:
