Why was my wall rejected?

If I had just one dollar for each time I/we received a letter similar to this one I’d be a rich person, instead of a volunteer.

First thing to be painfully aware of….Wincustomize.com is a Skinning site, not a wall site.  We ‘just happen’ to have walls.

The people [admins and wizops] who have been entrusted with determining what becomes site content are chosen for their experience in the sphere of skinning in particular, and graphics in general.

The guidelines you quote are just that….guidelines….and intended to dissuade the potential uploader from submitting works ‘most likely’ to be rejected.

As with ‘laws’, ‘guidelines’ are meant/expected to be transgressed from time to time.

If/when a wall artist gets his/her nose out of joint regarding what has or has not been accepted the final word is….’if you MUST have your works displayed…create your own site to do so', or locate a site without ‘limitations’ of any sort….and preferably NOT a skinning site….there are ample ‘Graphic Art’ sites available quite happy to accept your interpretation/s of what ought to be shown/distributed.

I myself, though being a site Admin do not have most of my works displayed on Wincustomize.com as it would be an abuse of position…whether they were up to par or not.  My numerous ‘walls’ are not needed’ on Wincustomize.com…..bryce renders or traditional art media alike.

Final word….some Bryce….some Terragen…some Vue….etc….are ‘nice’ to include in an overall sense in the Library….but that does not mean each and every one of the million plus members can upload default sputum and expect it to be accepted.

As I said….one or two floating speres is about as much as anyone can stomach.
