Great improvement of AI and a new issue

Hey guys,

I really wanted to mention the new AI. Something happened that never happened before. In a game with Capital planet win condition, a nightmare  AI, when started losing attacked my homeplanet with 3 nukes from sheitton of distance away, thus successfully annihilating me in a match. I'm impressed. I only wonder what ARES will bring.

However during the same game, i encountered a pretty bad bug. If one PC player generates insurgents on a planet, your defenses are not attacking them. They can stay indefinitely and bomb your planet and defenses without any punishment whatsoever. Your troops however detect them and destroy them. So it's only about defenses (stabase can see and attack enemies, but it doesn't move towards them, vasari player). And weirdly enough among planet bombers, percherons and kodiaks, only percherons were attacked by defenses and only while my ships were present in the planet well. Almost if only my ships can see those.

Also, were the distances of Novalith increased/removed? I see same thing as in Sins 1. Novalith now can attack anywhere on the map?

Hey, it's weird about the defences. Could you share a save file, with that bug?
Regarding Novaliths, they are very limited in range, but probably due to planet rotation, your planets got just in range of multiple of those.

Yes both were pretty unexpected.

Here is the link to the last save https://drive.google.com/file/d/19CO8PKuH4poUsxdoStYP28XIGBzfsz4j/view?usp=sharing

So the defenses that don't engage happens ONLY with the ships from Insurgency (TEK rebels). I re-colonized Velimir (My barren planet near the sun) so you can see that.

I never play with planet rotation, and nevertheless Xenia, my homeplanet was targeted by multiple Novaliths from across the whole system just like good ol times.

Hope this helps
