Well,because I realized quite late (after I said jeg er fra tyskland) that this thread was about all those germans posting only in german LOL

Det er kendt fakta at tyskere har det bedst med at tale tysk, de er ligesom franskmænd, de gider ofte heller ikke tale andet en fransk. Det er surt at mange chat rum eller channels i online spil bliver spammet med snak som ikke forgår på engelsk som er internationalt.
Men det er da altid noget at vi i norden kan forstå hinanden rimlig godt uden de store problemer.

If i go online in C&C Generals and join the european channel everyone will be speaking in either german or french, i hate that, and they often refuse to speak english even if you end up being allied with them and you already told them you don't understand what they are writing.

But its also funny how all movies in germany get the whole audio tape erased and replaced with german voices, so i guess they don't here alot of english in there everyday life.

dum de dum...it´s me again (sorry for disturbing again,but I felt that I had to say something to Awac).First,if you are playing C&C online,it is not very surprising that the guys there are not speaking english.Most of them are barely old enough to speak their own language to an understandable degree .Well... I do not use german too often on international forums ( I admit I do it sometimes when someone starts a thread in german,because you cannot know if he understands english,cant you? ),but why should people not?Are there any rules that say "no kwisuaheli please" or anything like that?Let everybody do as he wishes - who is hurt by this?And yes,it IS indeed strange that nearly every damn movie is translated over here.But I do not understand why (I think I should),because everybody I know who is younger than 40 CAN speak english,and most do so.And I hate those translations because I generally dislike those.The original "feeling" is lost.But I am quite angry that someone just says "hey,the french/germans/whoever" (everyone of them?!) can´t speak english/whatever.This is just absurd - and if there are some of these **************************
that just won´t answer when you ask them to speak english or refuse to - well,then they are just plain impolite *****************************************
but they do not behave this way just because they are germans/french/martians or whatever (and this has happened to me quite some times also).And how do you come to know that nobody in Germany or France speaks english??? Well,sorry for this,perhaps I misunderstood you.If I somehow got this wrong,please feel free to flame back .
