Linking an object to the system volume?

I cant seem to get an object to link to the system volume? Its not a slider bar or anything like that, just a simple point-n-click object that I would like to use to open the volume icon in the system tray.

it's not hard, try C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndvol32.exe

Skinner.... hate to bother you with my problems but you have been the only person with any helpful advice so far. I was wondering if you knew how to link a slider/dial to the system volume?
