I tend to not get involved with flame wars, but my experience (from other forums as well) is that if there was some common sense from the original poster, then there wouldn't be a flame war in the first place.

But alas, some people don't have the common sense the others have.

As for the members of our Empire, I propose this: Regardless of what Mayito/blah blah /blah blah name he uses, if anything that is posted that gets people hot under the colar, step into the Special Forces Tavern, have me pour you one of the (now) infamous Warp Core Breaches, and let it go.

That's my $0.05 worth (due to inflation)

Nand1 and the others, let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am Piers Kazanski, resident bar tender and Q Branch administrator. If you want cool toys, come see me.

I usually don't post, and when I do, I usually post stories. I play somewhat, but my schedule is busy with work (I'm in the Army), school and family.

With that said, I'm looking for your character's backstory (if you have one). If not and you don't mind my "creative" ways, then I'll write what comes to mind.

Thanks to all for your well wishes and congratulations . . . I dedicate this milestone to all my sisters (and brothers too I guess) out there in nerdland trying to have a go . . . LOL !

Special Forces, We may have won the battle to get an overlord over that magic million (there's no question I couldn't have done it without you guys, sincere thanks) but the war seems to be slipping away from us my dear Specials . . .

FOTR equally has some great and dedicated players and they always seem to be able to come up with the goods when under pressure, hats off to them for consolidating thier led . . . reminds me a little of the good old days when GROSS and FOTR used to via for top honors on a daily basis . . . those where exciting times!

When we (the SF) took first I was just happy to savor that achievement. To think that an Empire as small as ours could take the top spot if only for a day or two is a truely amazing thing. Full points to all the SF's and especially Wild Wombat . . . I remember your earlier efforts with the Freedom Force but only now realize what is was you where trying to achieve . . . you are a great leader and a prety kewl charecter too . . .

As for all the jive about the Pentagram etc etc . . . I must admit I personaly didn't like it either but thats because that symbol means somthing special to me (not evil by the way but personal) . . . and that's the thing about the power of a symbol, they mean so much more than just words but can also mean so many different things to different people . . . if you get my drift.

Anyway I just wanted to say how sorry I was to see so much flamage here and hope some goodwill and tolerence can be spent by all here . . . we're all here for the same reason after all . . . that being the love of a truely amazing and delightful game . . .

I think my cheese factory has just about made it's last few Camemberts and we're all out of crackers . .

Thanks Ginata - and that's the feeling that makes this one very Special outfit to be a part of...only regrets about flamage is the attention being taken away from your magnificent achievement - really well done, and the whole outfit is proud of you!

Hey guys. Just wanted to say I consider all of you friends and hope there are no hard feelings between our two empires. I certainly hope this hasn't distracted too much from Ginata's great accomplishment and all of your efforts.
