Cant get skin to apply

Downloaded alx skin, unzipped to media player\skins.

can use skin by clicking the wms but can't use skin chooser to apply.

Skin is showing in the chooser but when i click apply eiter nothing happens or corporate skin is applyed.

love the skin and all works well but would like to use it properly.

If your OS is Windows XP SP2 some files are downloading as .zip for some people, if you still have the zip change,
.zip to .wmz then double click.

All is good, thanks.

Had to redownload but used firefox this time came through as .wmz

used iexplore when i got .zip maybe iexplore is the problem?

On IE , when you are on the save as dialog box , you are given two options for file types

.zip and All Files. Select All files from the drop down and add the .wmz extension on the end. When its done downloading , open the the skin and tada! Its installed.
