Well that's another game played where the metaverse reports no errors and sending my score and NADA shows up! So funny- it looks like the last game I played was back in july...

Oh well... it was fun while it lasted- guess I play alone... sob. :sniff!:

I still haven't had an unsuccessful submission (touch wood) . . . but I've noticed that the sending takes ages compared to what it used too (mabye over a minute these days and I have cable?).

Actually, hang a sec I did have problems for a while when I turfed the Stardock software which was messing with my computer when we had that whole Logo and process running in the background crap happening a couple months ago. It said submission successful almost instantly and there was not a sausage! Also mabye version 1.05 isn't compatable with the Metaf**ingverse . . . who knows? I bet someone can help you beyond my museings though . . . Though time of year to be asking for help though, these forums are kinda empty . . .

Dearmad, was your game 1.12, 1.13 or alterian beta? (don't know if it has anything to do with the problem, but with a computer everything is possible)

1.13... I DID apply CariElf's mini-patch but that shouldn't screw it up, right?

The ODD thing is I get that popup window which says 0 erros, 1 submission or whatever. It SAYS things went ok.

Trying again this morning I get a send test failed.

then a error =0

then a error=0
submission =1

series of pop-up screens after about a minute.

Why on EARTH is this piece of the program so FREAKIN difficult to get working right on every computer. Just encode the darned data stream.

I guess you're right about that. I see many people complaining about problems with it. But I have yet to have one. I hope it lasts.

The sad part is that if they yanked that entire part of the game, I wouldn't have noticed and wouldn't have anything to complain about.... I'm such a "lsoer." (sp on purpose) I just want my 20,000 points so I don't waste away as player #7689!!!!!!!!!!!! But OTOH I still enjoy playing the game... Agh, I'm wierd. >:(

Dearmad, did you check your debug.err file to see if it reports anything there?  I put in some debugging code for 1.13.

It's all greek to me should I email it to you or what? There are a lot of debug messages in it though... a lot. I'm unsure which part is specifically for the metaverse submission.
