I am officially announcing the Independent Players Empire. It is an empire designed to not be an empire. No empire thread. No empire insignia (almost). No website. No hassle. Your score counts in the empire side of the Metaverse, and that's it. Anyone interested?

If it requires me to join....or in any way affiliates me with another group of people...or has the word "Empire" in it....

Then it's an Empire in all but name (a Star Democracy?).

I thought I was already part of the "independent players". What do you call an independant player who doesn't join the independant players empire? :D

Why not just announce that you're the emperor of the Independent Players Empire, add up all the scores of the nonaligned players, and claim that as your empire score?

Bill, if you're interested, I could send you the empire "non-logo" so that you can use it (it took a little to get it to work right. I could save you the time).
