Star Control 2 is available for free, FrogBoy. Unless you are thinking a SC1 (all strategy with tactical ship versus ship battling)?

But which way? I know you do great stuff... but there is a serious difference between 1, 2, and 3. SC1 was fantastic for sitting around with your buds and doing Melee with. SC2 was really fun RPG. SC3 was, well, not well liked by the SC fan base overall.

It's always worked for me before - but isn't now! It appears to record the vote, thanks me and then I get the voting panel back again, rather than the results

Never played either of them.

In fact, Civ2 and 3. Moo2 and Gal Civ are the ONLY games I have ever played.

Wow, most definitely MoM!

Brad, I'm drooling at the thought of what you guys could do with that classic. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, check out the Underdogs, I think it's available there.

Yes MoM. I played that game so much when I used to have it. The closest thing to come to it lately has been Age of Wonders.....but it just didn't replace MoM for me. If you guys are seriously considering a game similar to it.....I would love you....more than I already do. I definitely liked the civilization type map it had more than the Heroes of Might and Magicish one that Age of Wonders had. I hope you aren't getting us worked up about nothing!

Do MoM. There's already a group doing a semi-sequel to the Star Control series with the approval of the creators of SC1 and SC2.

I think I played SC before. Isn't that the one where you have to build buildings but only have a limited number of spaces to build them in? If so, I hate that type of game, and I have tried several that are set up that way. I never played MoM, so I wouldn't know if I would like it, but I did love AoW and AoW II.

all you had was fuel depots and ship yards.

I never played SC, but I did play SC2. That was fly around, collect resources, find other civs, and get ships. Pretty fun really.
