Can Recycle Bin be hidden?

I have Tiggz GT3 recycle bin widget that I wanted to use, but I don't know how to hide the regular recycle bin. It would be kind of redundant to have 2 bins on my desktop. If the solution includes hiding all desktop icons, that's fine, I don't use any shortcuts on my desktop.

Right click on desktop, Arrange icons by, uncheck Show desktop icons.
Hides all desktop icons including the recycle bin.
Very easy and great for use with object dock.

Ditto, I was trying for ages to try and hide the bin. I'm sooo glad I searched the forums before I asked a dumb question.

TweakUI has a ton of things you can use, and you can select which icons you want to leave out in case you want to remove the recycle bin and not others. It isn't a "program" per se, meaning it doesnt' run at all unless you are changing the settings. It just has a lot of behind-the-scenes Windows settings in one place that you can adjust. I think they call it "powertoys" for XP now.
