It's coming along nicely. Multithreading is being implemented wholesale inside to make the game feel a lot faster.

Nice!!!

I am one of those insufferable people who likes numbers, or percentages with my scroll bars (such as how rich in habitable planets the galacy is, intelegence and demeanor of the alians, etc.). Would it be possible to add this?

A dual Pentium 4 1.7ghz system with a Geforce 4. Though I've heard it will play passably on a Geforce 3 if you play in text mode...

(seriously, I develop it at home on a fairly low end laptop. And that's developing, I'd say a p2-400 with any remotely decent video card should be fine).

Why cant i purchase the game???? The link to purchase it is not active, only the link to buy the PACK of games is. :( I wanted to take part in the BETA test, can only help me out?

Currently the Beta is available to users of Drengin.Net, and next week a build will be put together for those who have purchaced GalCiv stand alone.
