Icon Rejection?

I recently uploaded an icon in a zipped file that included both the icon itself in .ico format as well as a png of the icon. I've done this on my three previous uploaded icons with no problem, but this time I got an email saying that png images couldn't be included in the Icons section. I also got a second message saying my icon did not meet guidelines. What I would like to know is why it doesn't meet guidelines -- is it because of the reason in the first email or something else. The icon is an aqua colored computer monitor with WC on the screen. I look forward to any response.

The reason why png icons arent allowed in the 'Misc Icons' section is because they cannot be used as replacements for standard Windows icons - which the 'Misc Icons' section is intended for.

So if I take the png (there was an icon in .ico form in there too) out of the zip file it would be ok?

Thanks:)

I have another question -- what constitutes a major update on a skin or icon? On this one I know I chosen for it to be an update because I changed the look and added more colors, but it didn't show up that way.
