Zubaz, no problem, just there was a time it didn't work with vista and I haven't used it since it didn't work, it worked great with XP. just wondering if v2 worked with vista so I can start using it again. thanks for your quick response and offer of help. Roger :)

Yea that seems to be true, but the button 2 places to the left of the RSS feed is wincustomize spacific news such as the news on the charity drive and none of that news has made it there. Anybody know what's happening with the wincustomize toolbar for IE7? I installed it, thought it would be useful and it's like now forgotten. I know the guys at stardock are busy, but they said in their pitch for us to use the bar that "Get the latest news and announcements sent straight to your toolbar. Customer service is ok, those guys are extreamly swamped and may be slow at times. All that said and I realy say little on here unless something sets crooked with me and it has! Well I got my taxes back. I upgraded my computer for Vista as follows: it's already a 3.2mhz computer, did not have to upgrade the CPU. Upgraded to 4 gigs of memory. Upgraded to a 500 gig HD EIDE Hard Drive. Upgraded to an nVidia Geforce 7600 GS 512mb AGP 8 Card. And bought the Vista Ultimate Full (not upgrade). I am inpressed with the looks and features of vista, however it ran extreamly slow on almost everything, like moving files from one hard drive to another, doing t

Thanks boss0190, I have researched it myself and have formulated a couple of ideas. Over the years on wincustomized I've read articles in the forums on questions just like mine. I've come to respect the info from the diffrent people here at wincustomize and just wanted to get some other opinions, however this is the first time I've been directed to go to a diffrent site, I thought we took care of our own here. thanks for the suggestion though, I'll go on over to Tom's Hardware now. see ya!

Well this year I'm getting a little extra back from my taxes. My car was paid off in July of 2006 so I'll have some extra cash. I plan on getting Vista Ultimate, some new hard drives a sound card and a new video card. I've been using an nvidea 6600 agp card with 128mg mem. It's compatible with vista, but I was something faster and better. Can you guys on wincustomize suggest something. I thank you very much a head of time.
