I have no exp with mines, but maybe they should not only do damage but also apply a short Stun. Maybe that makes them a bit more usefull.
They do damage towers. The time Regulus needs to destroy a tower is time he doesnt kill DG's. From my tests with Regulus i think its a bad strategy to waste your power on towers, especially if the first tower health upgrade (only 600 gold) is in place. Thats just IMHO. But to support you, i would suggest to increase the tower range by 2 for the first and third tower damage upgrade you can buy. That way Regulus can still be a tower destroyer, if he dedicates more than one level
I respectfully disagree. I like the game, the fun it provides me and the stable performance i get on my dated system. In no way the game is perfect, but it is still in BETA and i trust, from experiance with Stardock, that it will get much better. And i believe you are trolling.

Everyone who assisted in killing a DemiGod gains gold. But you need to do some damage on the target, and its not granted post mortem AFAIK.

Also note that previous BETAs had other maps and demigods AFAIK. They change and mix with each new release to better focus test them, i guess.

From playing him a couple of times i must say he dies way to fast. Even Regulus seems to have more staying power, mostly because minions can't touch him (crossbow AE kills them), while the Beast can take some damage in melee. Also Rook beats him up every time. Also also, a demigod needs to be fun from the first second, not bloom in late game. I dont want to hate the first 10 minutes in a 20 minutes game, when the other demigods are fun right from the start. Just my hum

Got the same problem here. Strangly, even with 3 FPS, the game is more fun then the DoW2 BETA. [e digicons]:S[/e] Should i cry or cheer?!
There is still that special character bug that prevents me from starting a game. [e digicons]:([/e]
The problem persists with the latest build. I am running WinXP german. Will tyr again after next update
