Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
Limited number but they said that they will warn just before it fills up. In other words you are probably in because no warning yet. We believe that stardock now has bits and pieces of the game and that it is in the works.
Yep it is a BIG secret. ;) It is nice to have the main guy chatting on the forums so you get all the official info.
Oh boy now I better find the article. It looks like it was not gamespy. I know it said in quotes about it being 10x faster because it really stuck out to me. Probably in actual chat it was one of those exagerations like to tell someone something is faster you say it is like 10x faster. :)
Yeah 7800 are pretty cheap and still are agp. I also read recently I think it was in a gamespy article with an interview with Brad that the engine is tweaked to run 10x faster then supcom.

Yeah the forums get slow at times and cause double post. Been playing DotA for the last couple of months against AI and friends. I like it. Demigod FTW. Oh and if you guys are worried about it turning out just get in the beta. I know the stardock/ironclad guys listen very closely to feedback from the testers. Hopefully GPG learns to work with Stardock the same way Ironclad did.
Just remember the tax rebate counts as income. ;) In other words it is not as big as it looks. From your specs looks like you may just need to bump up the RAM a little and get a better GFX card.

Crap I just pre-ordered and forgot about using my tokens. I think I have like 8 left.
It looks like they are doing the same thing as Galciv 1 and 2 as well as SoaSE. That means you pre-order you get to be in the beta. The process is awesome because they literally listen to everything the beta testers say and tweak it and release new versions all the way to release. In other words that is how all the games listed above have been hits because they basically listen to all the people who own the game already and build it to what they like/dislike.
