I was 'naive enough' to think a second rate Harvard-educated 'Constitutional Scholar' about whom we knew virtually nothing might actually pay attention to the document on which he claimed to be an expert and which he took a solemn oath to defend. Twice. We'll see how naive we are about Trump.
In 2008, Obama came to my town to do his stump speech. I knew he was full of hot air from the s

Do you guys seriously believe that a billionaire has your genuine interest at heart? Are you really that naive? Obama and Clinton are no longer politically relevant. It's time to stop droning on and on about them. They made stupid choices and paid the consequences. Let them fade away into oblivion where they belong. The Republicans now control all three branches of the government, the buck stops with them. I can hardly wait to see who they scapegoat when th
It's come to this: Kremlin 'election-related cyberattacks' concern me less than NSA, et al, 'election-related cyberattacks' (eg., Georgia, State of). No one has refuted (or even denied) the veracity of the leaked information, so whoever was responsible, it was never a 'disinformation' campaign. The whole 'Russia did it' ploy was just that, a diversionary tactic meant to divert attention
Another train wreck in the making...But just like Trump can shoot someone in the middle of the street and get away with it, Trump supporters will blame Obama and Clinton if the Republican dismantling of the ACA blows up. Does this mean that Fences will be bundled with a new PC like the many other trial offer software products that come pre-loaded on a Dell? One of the first things I do when I get a new PC is to delete all the trial software without bothering to look at any of them. I suspect other people do that as well.
These type of "two tiered" laws aren't isolated to CA. In my state, the death penalty is off the table, except for those who shoot politicians, police, and other government officials.
This looks great. I can't wait to see how it performs vs. other programs in the AVTest!
The focus of my post wasn't about price, but about completeness. (In terms of bug fixes and other issues mentioned by the OP). Typically by the time a product goes gold, most of the bugs have been ironed out. And if a person can't wait for gold, they should at least pick up an "unfinished" game for as little as possible. I also take issue with the Civ V-itisation of games. Long term immersion and engagement is what I personally value. I r
With the "steam model" developers (not just Stardock) really don't put the time and effort into games that they used to. Anyone remember game manuals? Or even the tech tree maps? No?, I didn't think so.... Heck, I even remember a thread posted by Brad where he was contemplating whether or not to follow the DLC model. It's a different time and a different market, and the focus is to crank out as much salable content as possible (DLC's, expansions, expand
This looks like a fun game! I'm looking forward to reading reviews and watching let's play videos.
I'm a casual gamer. I can say from person experience that 8 gigs is enough for games like GC III, Civ V, Endless Legends, etc. I do however also have a 6th generation i7 cpu, and a 4gig dedicated graphics card.
The doomsday clock is gone, but there still is a turn limit built into the game. How many turns does it take the SK to ascend on normal difficulty? (assuming no player interference) If the player chooses to ascend, the SK will go after the player of course, but... Does the SK play by the same rules as the player? (game mechanics), or will he be able to churn out endless waves of mooks each turn? (like a 1980's arcade game)
So, the new winning condition of the game is ascension? Are there any other win conditions? Will there be an way to see how much the the SC has progressed? How about the rivals, I assume they are racing toward ascension as well? Just a thought. If the players and AI rivals are racing to finish ascension before the SC (and each other), then, there is in effect, a doomsday clock... It just seems like SK in reverse. Instead of going to the SK

I agree that certain jobs can and are being replaced fairly easily (factory/warehouse), but there is a big obstacle in the way in other industries. Upfront capital expenditure. Not every company is going to risk implementing AI, especially in jobs that require specialized education and training. Large companies
