the evil races benefit more from intelligenmt difficulty upwards more than anything, as the penalties from lower difficulties make them suffer more than the other races
the very first line speaks for itself lol " It's not just that I get to make really cool stuff for a living. I mean, I get paid to make computer games for crying out loud. " i mean who wouldn't love that sort of job
i find thebiggest problem with modern games is they concentrate too heavily on graphics over fun and innovation, every firstperson shooter nowadays is relatively the same as the one before, just diffrent seeting or story, or one or two extra features, with "shiny new graphics" it's nice to be able to play a game like galciv2 that is packed full of plain fun, and yet, with good graphics too, if only more games could be made in the same manner of develop
try zooming right the way in onto empty space, it can speed it up considerably as you aint having to "watch" every ship move
the whole rotation thing sounds wicked though,, very juicy
the smartest thing ive seen from the ai so far is it's put it's production spending on 101% lol
ok i know loads of times people have said that the ai does not cheat, but when i start a game and use the "hotseat mode cheat" if you look at the new races spendings, it has 101%, now i aint waited to check it out at a later stage, but even 1% can make a diffrence over a LONG game, but i dunno if it stays that way or not, i could take a screenshot but i don't really have anyway of hosting one up
ivenever had trouble making alliances, some reason on my game everybody seems to become friends with everybody, it's getting boreing, untill i cause some umm trouble

ok this is the first time ive played the galciv games or any real civ typ egames, as good as it is, and with my gaming experience in general, ive picke dit up pretty quickly, except for the odd few things, how the heck do i set a fleet to escort a frieghter, i cannot find the bloody button or anything anywhere
