Even as an UB i could barely make a dent into one of them before i had to run away due to the mass of damage i was taking. He kept maintaining his innocence and didnt know what he was doing but each time his swarm did get killed he'd disappear and come back with more. Its fine if you have mines / an aoe but without them yo
Well the creep spawns are so low, you seem to loose potential XP on the flag. The idea with the locked flag isn't bad. But it will not generate that much fights. Ppl will just wait the timer. Mhhh how about capturing the flags by points you made in this area? So if you kill more creeps and heros near the flag you capture it. This would enforce ppl to stay and hold a flag. Ppl would play more agressive on such points, and the creeping would have a d
TOTW is Tip of the Week right? The game has only been out for what 1 month? Should you maybe change it to Tip of the Every couple days instead [e digicons]:D[/e] [e digicons][/e]
I agree. No one ever *fights* over flags. They just run there after the other people leave, because they're not just going to stand by the flags to defend them. If you run up to a flag with 2 heroes you can get it to contested before anyone can teleport in. And why would they teleport to a flag, it's just a flag. They'll just come recap it after you leave. And so on and so on until all you're doing
Thats really GodLike! You wrote everything I thought what shoudl be fixed. Really nice, especially the part about the number of creeps. I would really like to have a creep option with 5 settings called "low" "middle" "normal" "big" and "sick". The "normal" number should be the double amount than it is now (sry im german...) Even better it would be to have a bar to set the number of creeps. Anyway, the creeps must become more as
What I don't seem to understand is... how all of you just meet ONE guy who successfully carries his team in such a manner, and start to cry foul. You don't try it yourself, you don't try making a counter. You just go on the forums and cry your eyes out demanding a fix. You cannot repick your hero once you're in the game. If you do not have high powered aoe (aka if you are not torchbearer) you cannot kill a SWARM of priest
Some characters lend themself better for comebacks than others (Oak being one of them), simply because endgame > early game for them. I think the biggest flaw in Demigod is that there's very little room for cutting corners. The three biggest sources of progress are killing creeps, other DG's and taking flags. If a team gets behind, it can somethimes be very hard to pull some stunt to get back into the match (for example, by completel
Quoting Milskidasith, reply 8The problem is that EVERYBODY relies on spells, so pratically nobody gets a good mitigation from armor compared to health. Towers - Mitigated by armor TB - Almost all spell damage UB - Spit is spell, Fould gra
The answer to this question is the same for all demigods. Items with Evade. Cloak of Elvenkind and Desperate boots come to mind...

Nope its 25% of the damage done on creeps, not sure about towers
It honestly depends totally on which Demigod you are playing.. UB don't bother doing anything but the demigod (unless its Sedna then its priests then Sedna) Ooze will most happily kill the minions for you.. Sedna straight to the demigod. TB (so many AoEs its like what creeps/minions?) Regulus straight to the demigod (fortunately mines and MoTB both kill minions too) Rook (?) Oak smash minions when necessary for heals, smash enemy
Don't ever enter melee range. Melee characters will come to you, and you can harass them while THEY waste time walking. It is also useful to 'bait' enemies with delays on potions, nukes, etc. That is, if you combo someone at full health into the ground, they walk away. If you combo someone into the ground after having dealt a good portion of their health in damage, well, chances are they're dead. And yeah, TB does not rock the 1v1 game. Use him
If I've got my math right, caps being 250 gold... A goldmine flag gives 4g per player, per second (I think.) A cap lasts for 40 seconds. 4x4=160. A cap on a gold mine works both ways. You get the money, and your enemy doesn't. Thus, in a 1v1, 4x4x2=320, making it actually economically feasable to lock the flag every time it cools down. Obviously, you wouldn't literally lock
I'd say the guide is good with a caveat. You need to assess where the game is going early on and work in Uproot and compost much earlier. Why? compost is awesome at making uproot tick for 110 a tick towers early and can make it be used a "snipe towers" ability to burn towers down fast. You can easily push to places people don't expect you to be ... and this is fun and troubling to your enemies. Additionally Scaled Helm, The first glove and a teleport scro
QoT is only horrible in the late game because we save everyone else from buying citidal upgrades. your other players should have some pretty kick-ass gear. You should have a HoL and a ton of minion stuff as well as some cap locks. At least the way I play. You should also be shielding your allies to the max. If someone starts going to you, just run and let them follow. Your shield should suffice against any demigod
