They are sorting out the problems. Don't post with something that has been said millions of times before. Frogboy's journal entries (look on the homepage) are a good read relating to this.

Lag depends on how many people are playing and how far apart the players in question are. If you've got a 3v3 with players from all over the world, you're going to get lag no matter what. Name me a major online game around at the moment that doesn't experience some lag at times.

To RYG: Demigod's online activation is not required to play the single player game. It is required to play online multiplayer (name me a multiplayer that doesn't require this) and to download patches. This simply means that pirates don't get all the great post release support, which considering they didn't pay for it, is perfectly fair. Once this is done Stardock has a record saying 'this copy of Demigod belongs to this person', which also means that t

Sounds like a computer problem to me. The server issues (which are Gamestop's fault by the way) shouldn't affect SP.

Previously (ie a month or two ago) if you pre-ordered you had the option of playing betas. The betas are now closed so effectively there is no benefit now.

They're definitely going along the Batman Begins line with it. Some fans won't like it, but I don't think that another film could have been made with TNG people. The last few two felt like fan-only films, and Nemesis was a bit of a flop, although that was in part due to releasing it in competition with James Bond, Harry Potter and a certain film about two towers and a few orcs.

If you want to 'try before you buy' then wait for the demo.
