Then why post? I don't need to hear about those who won't apply friend . The empire isnt closed, anyone is welcomed to join ( i think , depends on what mavx wants). I just need 10 people for the experiment. If you dont want to be one of the 10 that's fine with me. I don't see the reason for posting saying you won't be... just don't be.

Torians spread very quickly, so ai tend to not fight them and that only helps their growth and research until they are quite ahead of most people. Colonization plays a very very large role.

Got it: This is for my ~272 game. Tech: 42843 Military: 37642 Econ: 64021 Society: 49288 Total: (193794 / 192)*250 = 252,335 points. Off a bit from my actual game, by about 20000~ points. This is because of 2 reasons. 1. I am not sure of the exact number of turns, 192 was based on 3*52 + 4*9 because the game went 3 years + to september. 2. Any bonuses from playing against large numbers of opponents or playing on suicidal were not counted, as I don't

Please space out your paragraphs or something, it was hard for me to read what you said. Ill put up my stats for the next game or tell me how i can find my stats. All I can find is population in LastSubmittedGame.xml. that and some other random stuff, but nothing about Tech/eco/mil scores. Where are these stored?

I don't want to recruit people here. I only want 10 people, how much of a hinder on your empire can that take? No need to take my experiment personally. Algorithms are not cheating. It's using your brain. That is earning it just as much as anything else. And no, it's no fun for me to play like this. See my 'tough' game at 21,500 points? Tht was a nice long and fun game I played stupidly . I plan to play li

I thought the score calculation was applicable to only individual games, thus you shouldnt drop places? Let me recheck the thread about that. I've not restarted games, though in order to gain a higher score I might do that. My first gigantic game I played was with 9 ai opponents, second with 8. I do not know how much the number of ai opponents effects the score. It also doesn't help to have one AI opponent i'd think. One ai opponent on suicidal makes it harder to exploit ai aggression

Oh well. If you look at my Iron Guerilla post, I said I would tell the first 10 people who join who can complete tough+ games how to use my strategies. But I, of course, will never tell you because of your attitude towards me. End of this discussion. To anyone interested in the "Iron Guerillas" experiment, read my post about it in this forum. Thanks. -unfunf

Hi. I study computer science, and part of that involves algorithms. I am putting a few into play (some I figured out, some I learned) for the game. I am still researching the exact scoring system, but I have been told some about it and calculated some of it. With this information I am able to calculate optimum game times and paths in order to churn out reasonable numbers. I am still working on optimizing my system more. I expect to be able to hit 400k on v1.2 sooner or later.

metaverse is meant for competition. If people can outdo someone who specializes in algortithms, more power to them, they deserve first place . Amassing large collections of people by letting anyone join an empire is... meh .

I would like a few decent players as volunteers for an experiment of an empire I am conducting. It's an empire called "Iron Guerillas", with Mavx as the emperor. The goal? To reach the #1 empire slot with under 10 members. How? I will personally teach each member how to take tried and true algorithms and apply them to the game, thus maximizing your scores and being able to defeat Suicidal AI on a regular basis. I expect scores between 90,000-250,000 per game. My scores will

I have edited a savegame. You can change everything easily besides actual ship configs and numbers, positions and such. Thatd be hard . For example, open up the savegame in your editor and look for al arge block of FF's. 16 bytes above those you should see 8813 or some such set of 2 bytes, thats a 2nd money value. 6 bytes before that value should be the first one. Try changing those to FF FF or

You can select a single ship class you want to upgrade and when you click 'upgrade' and it brings you to the screen that lets you pick what you want to upgrade it to, check the box 'upgrade all ships of this class' that's in the top left corner of the update screen. This will update every ship in your fleet of the same class.
