I too have Vista 64 and have gotten unhandled exceptions in the lobby, making it impossible to play. Started during the friday night patch.

After installing the patch for demigod that from friday night (may 22nd) I can no longer join games. Either: A)I crash while trying to connect to players (I enter the lobby, but get an unhandled exception after a minute or so) B)cannot connect period to anyone (either via proxy or nat) C)Shows 0 ping even though the connection info shows me connected to everyone. Previously the only times I could connect and play demigod multiplayer was before any patch
According to frogboy's posts portforwarding can help alleviate connection problems with demigod multiplayer. I've been fiddling with port forwarding for like a week now and still can't get it to work. As far as I understand you open a port in your router, then open it your firewall or just disable your firewall completely. However at canyouseeme.org I still get connection timed out on ports I attempted to open and connection refused on ports I did not. Is there any obscure things that
What type of internet connection are you using? DSL/Cabal/56kmodem? My only resort is trying to buy a different router, its about 4-5 years old. I might just be burned out and malfunctioning.
For some peculiar reason I am getting lag spikes in *some* multiplayer matches in demigod. They occur once every two or three seconds, enough to make a game unplayable and embarassing me in the process. I have to be the one to ruin a game. I noticed it is more pronounced in 4v4 games in leviathan. When I connect to the game lobby it shows others having a ping of 100-150. Others report my ping is around that as well. However once the game starts other players repot my ping skyrocketing to 350
