Yes because you're impatient. Their staff just got back from holiday, give them a freaking break.

Seems to rewrite all the achivement data at the end of a multi game. Stays during single player it seems, but you "re-earn" all the achivements again in multiplayer and whatever you gained there is just written over everything rather than just adding to it.
Eh, It's already more than a 5th towards either team winning. By the time they get their on-line s*&t toghether it'll be almost over anyway.
Well that's pretty much my point. We're going to have an entire tournament on the books composed of essentially random statistics. What's the point of tracking stats if only about 5% of them are accurate?
Considering the vast number of errors with the stat tracking now, making the whole thing irrelevant (I have two pantheon games that show up as "custom" a win listed as a loss, and several other anomolies myself) I think once things get stabilized the one currently going on should just be purged. Anyone else in agreement? Right now the whole battle might make up the stats with a random number generator.
I'm not really complaining, I know they're trying the best they can, I'm just saying the unfortunate truth. Gamestop screwed them, and they're getting a ton of bad press over this that isn't going to go away )=
Still having the problem intermittantly again. Same as the above, gets through, you can hear the wind blowing, but its frozen. Sometimes you wait a few seconds and you pass right through. Other times, it just stays that way. Been like this since the patch.
Personally, I stopped listening to Gamespot LONG ago after the whole Kane and Lynch fiasco. As for Gamestop, I know the ones around here started selling the game as of the 10th of the month. The whole company is freaking more incompetent than you know. I wouldn't understand how the hell they stay in business if they weren't a complete monopoly. EDIT: In addition, in a case like this, I'd really, really like to see Gamestop get sued, or at least a nasty letter... I mean, I'm no
All I can say is, the match making is literally killing this game right now. It's an amazing game, when it can actually be played .Right now, trying to get a pantheon game that will actually launch going is more of a test than the game itself.
Yeah I've only managed to get into 2 whole pantheon games so far, but the last one I just finished a bit ago is coming up as a 1 player game, custom, that I lost. Reality, strangely 7 players, a few drops mid game due to lovely lag, it was a Pantheon game, and we won. So the whole system for that seems screwy. The first entry was just fine. Then again, on the next page it also says i only played 1 game, so I have no idea. Achivements don't seem to be saving either.
Pretty much says it right there. I'm not sure if they ever got around to patching it up, but the achievement system is still borked.
My suggestion is returning it to Gameslop and buying it direct from Stardock 8D. Well, that might be too late now, but next time!
Ok, here is my problem with this post. Should there be demos? Yes Should the developers take time away from developing the game before release to deal with said demo? Personal Preference (I think they should wait) Do I think pirating the game is a viable option if you're looking to try before you by: If that's what you're actually doing, and not just using it as an excuse, then sure. So where is my problem wit
Same problem here. Though port forwarding (less likely) and waiting a bit longer after the box went blank (more likely) managed to get me into a Pantheon game. Bottom line though, the matchmaking boxes are not nearly descriptive enough. Especially when it just suddenly stops showing anything and just has a blank box up there, which I assume it does when its found a match and is attempting to launch. I've closed that a few times thinking the game froze on me.
I managed to get in this time. I waited and just let the first few movies play through, and then clicked through the whole "intro story" movie, waited 5 seconds, and it seemed to like that. Does this make any sense from a technical standpoint? Not that I can think of. But hey, its time for technovoodoo to commence if it gets the game to work.
What did they do! I actually booted the game up this morning and it worked A-OK. Messed with some profile stuff, tinkered around, and when I closed it noticed there was another minor patch. Patched it and went to work. Coming back to finally get a good game going after that patch? Completely hosed. It just locks up completely after the intro screens. Patches are not for breaking the game, they are for fixing )=
I have to say, I would like to see #1. I don't really care how they work in it. but a little more unit variety would go a long way to keep things interesting.
