-Option to keep the installation files so I can back it up to a DVD or something. If I had to format for some reason, and all my games were digital I could be looking at 20+ GB worth of DLing to get all my games back. Not only is this going to take a lot of time, but most providers don't offer unlimited bandwith anymore, so this is an issue. It's fine for games that are < 1GB, but Resident Evil 5 for example is just under 7 GB. I do not want to have to download that again if it
I've played games where Oak level 2 surge didn't wipe out Erebus minions, so I believe nightwalkers are still a little bit broken.
The base hp of any minion is over 630. Surge 2 only does 450 so there is no way it will wipe out any minions in one shot. Surge 2 is great against reinforcements not minions. The most effective counter to minions is AoE stuns. Dark side has a significant advantage in this regard.
I think Stardock is doing a good job. I can't say the same for GPG.
Once you get Surge of Faith, spend some time aoeing reinforcement waves to level up. If you see any spots where multiple waves of reinforcements have bunched up, head over there to aoe.
Good catch on the Movement Speed affecting Minions regardless or AoE. I may have to rethink using Surge of Faith when chasing after enemy DGs.
It only affects allies in range of Surge of Faith. Allies being Minions, DGs and Reinforcements.
In Pantheon, I see a lot of people stacking Run speed buffing and/or debuffing items and skill. Knowing the right counter can be difficult because it can be highly situational. The first thing to realize is that if they have the run speed advantage you will never be able to run away after starting an engagement. So before engaging you have to decide whether to avoid the confrontation entierly or stand you ground. The second thing to realize is that by stacking run spee
I agree with Ryan. Unless you are going against a well cordinated team with heals and shields, there comes a point in the game where you hit a certain damage threshold and you can totally own hp stackers. Even if they have heals and shields you can trick your opponents into protecting the wrong person and still own them. Hp stacking gives you an early game advantage but if you fail to capitalize on it you will get owned.
On Monday Tuesday and Wednesday I had to put up with a lot of that. Last night was fine for me though.
Personally I think hp stacks are over-rated. In the hands of a pro, it does make DG very hard to kill but pros are hard to kill by definition.
I wasn't going to comment on this thread but I also think it is premature to ban SocialistRyan. It smells too much like a witch hunt. Having looked at his game list, forum post and considering his win percentage I don't see any reason why he should be banned. If there was atleast 3 seperate cases then maybe. Comparing his game list to mine, I wonder if I'll be next on the chopping block given that I have an 84% win ratio and a ton on N/A and incomplete games. Having sa
Yes I know you can't get an xp bonus from the start unless you have Brilliant Bobble but the amount of xp needed to level is on a curve and it takes only 8% of the total xp to get level 20 to reach level 6. Which would mean you still had 92% to go with which to benefit from an xp bonus. My example with the magical coin purse was to illustrate that you'd be better off with the purse and buying the citadel upgrade versus getting the brilliant bobble which is kinda tangencial to the topic. I use
Each 10% is equivalent to an extra level. That doesn't seem much until you get 20 or 30% xp boost. Now what if you got magical coin purse favor item and used the money saved to get the first citadel xp upgrade? Get both the benefit of the Brilliant Bobble and Coin Purse for 1200 gold.
I will agree with Ring of Divine Might but not necessarily with Horn of Battle. Horn of Battle will not save your minions against a 1.7k hammer slam or 1450 damage worth of mines. Tome of Endurance makes it easier for you to buff your minions to the point where they can. Having said that, for a full minion build, Ring of Divine Might is overkill so if you need the extra hp at the start of the game, Tome of Endurance might not be a bad choice.
Can you change pantheon so that when there is 3+ on one side and 1 or the other, instead of doing 3 vs 1 + 2 ais, do 1vs1 and then 2 or 3 vs ais. It is getting really annoying having all these games dropped because one side is handycapped.
let me guess, spirits + morale + minions + horn?
Ring of Divine Might, Cloak of Night or BotF on small maps, Teleportation Amulet on large maps.
If you leave or get kicked from custom game lobby, sometime the game forgets to remove you from the list of players. The phantom players show up in the Demigod server stats and stuff so people will see more players in the game than actually are.
I tend to play a minion heavy oak. 1. Raise Dead 2. Divine Justice 3. Soul Power 4. Raise Dead 5. Surge of Faith 6. Penitence 7 Divine Justice 8 Penitence 9 Penitence 10 Surge of Faith 11 Penitence 12 Raise Dead 13 Raise Dead 14 Moral 1 15 Surge of Faith 16 - 20 Moral 2-6 Starts off slow but can be a real terror mid to late game. The hardest part is raising t
Belier and Apika aren't noob stompers, they play good players all the time. They just lose over and over again and cheat to prevent the losses from being recorded.
Had this just happen to me in Pantheon. They dropped when the game was lost and the game is not recorded. Apika played QoT and Belier played Erebus.
The 8 players could be 7 light 1 dark, 6 light 2 dark, 5 light 3 dark etc. If there is only 1 player on one of the sides, the matchmaking will either set up a 1 + ai vs 1+ai or multiple players versus 1 + ai. When I queue up for Pantheon I usually have http://www.demigodthegame.com/opengames.asp up also to see who is in queue. As a result I rarely have this issue. If it looks like I'll end up in a 3vs 1 + 2 ais, I leave queue and let the 3 playesr on the other side play versus
If HP > Armor > Recovery Rate > Damage Wouldn't 345 health + 305 mana + 75 armor + 6% attack speed + 18 weapon damage > 15% attack speed + 30 weapon damage? In otherwords, is HP stacking realy >>>>> Damage? At what point are you better off getting extra damage versus extra HP? Picking Fire Aura over Stats seems to counter the general beleif that HP > Damage. Or is 15% run speed + attack speed bonus to teamates sufficient to
I'd get Slayer Wraps for any Assassin build for the Crit strike. +hp/sec is a nice bonus but not the main reason for purchasing that item.
There are two ways to improve automatch ups. 1. Have more players available to pick from. 2. Skirmish, but we voted that off the island. As for Drizzo77, don't feel bad, he's been playing for nearly a month.
Here are my suggestions. 1. Half of Entourage bonus should be applied to Summon Shamble 2,3,4 instead. Reason, - Raise Dead Ward boost number of summoned, hp and damage, - Coven boost number of summoned and damage, - Summon Yetis boost numbers, hp and damage and/or reduces mana cost. - Summon Shamble only increases number of summon and reduces mana cost. 2. Entourage should boost QoT movement speed. Reason, QoT is the slowest gen
