Novalith, this has happened to me a few times. I got my name from Phalanx, because i though Phalanx was spelled like Phalnax at first. It does get annoying when people say you spelled your name wrong. Also in Lord of the Rings:BFMEII: ROTWK, I named my hero Lindor, and when the expansion pack came out, Lindor happened to be a place. People think i stole that too. I Pride myself on being orginal. That new game Universe At War:Earth Assault (War of the Worlds look-alike) stole the name

Yeah Feb 08 sucks especially when Im not going to be Pre-Ordering it. I have PC Gamer subscription and look forward to seeing additional adds and reviews. Also with Starcraft II (good stuff).

Can the beta/pre-order people rank the game from a 1 to 10. One being horendous, and ten being stupendous. This will give people an idea and give Stardock and idea on their game and its current state. Thank you. With just seeing the screens and other comments, I would give it a 8. I haven't pre-ordered it. I just think think it should come out sooner (although it probably coldn't).

Im using Pro-Engineer Wildfire 3.0 Student Edition to answer your question. I've also taken out like 7 races. It will be a total of about eight races at the end. But that would be about four games that I WANT to make.

I know it doesn't get me anywhere near a game because I'm only sixteen years old. I'm still in High School. Since I have nothing else feasible that's what I do. I know when I get into the corporate world, I'll see the reality of game-making. But I have no clue. I will adapt to whatever needs to be adapted to. Most likely the number of races will be cut down. But however, I would still rather have more now and nothing later. I have never been to any conventions so I have no background oth

No it is made in 3-D Computer Aided Design enigne software. it is not a mod; it is a game i want to make when im out of college. for now im not even in college yet. im thinking it up i mean obviosuly when i get into a company that has made RTS games before ill probably realize 15 or so races is too many. but its gud to have too many now than too little later on. they could always be taken out. or a deluxe edtion of the game could inlcude more races. etc...

It doens't have to be balanced-some races are minor The ones that are balanced will be the Major races and games between those ones only would be ranked, otherwise casual gameplay. And no i haven't started the game cuz im only 16 years old. im going to college for it. so in truth only like six or seven core races would have to be balanced. other would be there becuase of gameplay options and additional fun. no it shouldn't be $100 becase just make the models, program it and don't w

Also, this goes to Ron Lugge - i will do something...i've already made about 150 models of the Ships on Computer Aided Design. Although CAD is not used for game-making, i have nothing else and I'm only sixteen so nothing is realistic yet. So my parents and family and friends are quite impressed. In these days its hard to be different in games so im shooting for overhwleming options. That's unique... 15 or so playable races. A few races are also minor races that stand no chance agains

First off, i forgot to mention it takes place over FOUR games 1. Four Races-ground 2. Eight Races (total)-space/ground 3. Fifteen Races (total)-space/ground 4. Eight Races-ground Learning Curve would be easy: difficulty settings-rates the race on difficulty of playi I could probably take out like six races that don't do with the plot but have their own problems (more the merrier though. The Books also don't have 15 races in them at once. Th

Yeah i didn't think size 7 was that big...sorry. no im not from SupCom forum. I mean yeah three races is the standard. Obviously you people would only want limited options. Well then i guess in the game that i want to make wouldn't sell. The game i want to make is a space real-time. Similar to this except i've been thinking it up for the last six years. My game will have about 15 different playable races spanning the enitre Local Group of galaxies. If three is plenty, then 15 should be j

SupCom- when it comes to making races everything goes back to STARCRAFT (as with Sins...). The UEF is the terran, Cybran the Zerg, and Aeon the Protoss. Anyone else agree? I mean companies say we only put three (or four) races in so we can develop them. I say put in six or seven instead of three and develop those too. More options, more people to buy it; do i hear expansion??? Anyone agree??

Genesis Rising was fairly impossible and bad. The campaign was yawn-inspiring. The graphics were good, it was creative but it was too limited. Each races has a total of like five ships; three are military (yawn, but no offense it was a good idea).

Can anyone tell me why game studios only make three races. One is the equivalent of the Starcraft Terran (TEC), another the Protoss (Advent), and the other the Zerg (Vasari)??? I mean im designing a space game with about 17 races!!! All of them are developed and worth making strategies for each. Im only sixteen so don't bother trying to buy in the near future. So if you like this game, you'll like my game due to the extensive amount of races (an options)

Alright, i got SupCom but didn't work, my b-day is soon n been asking for a new rig and ill pay for some. I thought the demo would work, and that didn't even work. They better lower the requirements...or else (i'll do nothing but still). If they want to reach the widest market possible LOWER THE REQUIREMENTS!!!
