Quoting Kreakor, reply 1The game mechanics are screwed, it has to be one of the most bugged releases ive ever played. Wow, are you sure you play computer games? This is far from the buggiest.
hes obviously exaggerating or hes just retarded..or hes a petty upset little whiner anyone who calls this game buggy on release should stay quiet..this was a really good
Quoting blend, reply 4Unfortunately it doesn't work this way for the moment. Getting the same artifact that was already purchased will cost the same amount of favor points, hence the issues with players getting negative favor. At least, that's what's happening for me. Yes. Theoretically it's SUPPOSED to work that way and does in SP. It unfortunately bills you again in MP right now even for unlocked items.
&nbs
Once you purchase a favor item, that item remains unlocked for the rest of your career in future games. Getting that same favor item in any future game is free...but keep in mind you can only ever have one favor item in a game. That means if you equip an unlocked favor item, you have to wait until the next game to unlock a different item.
but when i unlock an item..do i have to re-acculimate the pts fr
Im confused on how favor items work I was under the assumption that winning gave you favor pts, which unlocked favor items but are these pts a currency, that if i spent em id have to re-unlock the items(get their value in points again)
i agree with alot of whats said One thing i think that should be added is that creeps dont seem to play much of a role right now If they are in mass numbers they can do decent damage to a DG, and they are pushovers that get farmed most of the time
bump has anyone else noticed this
they dont are allowed. They just try to connect, and this is making the servers go crazy. But they cannot play online and cannot log in. I personally think, that this will be good for demigod, as most people, who normally wont have bought it, now can test, and if only 50% of them decides to pay for it to play online and have stats and co, Demigod will sell very good.
theres upsides and downsides to it
http://kotaku.com/5215528/demigod-18000-customers-100000-pirates Im getting a bad feeling this game is gonna get shelfed in the near future And why are pirates allowed to compete online and get patches?
um warcraft 3 DOES host from dedicated servers for ranked matches and for all other games its done at the user end..and with alot of third party hosting tools its lagless
Im not really sure how to describe this, but its not frame lag it feels like multiplayer lag, where if i do a click move, the demigod deosnt start moving till a delay afterwards is this normal, or meant to simulate multi? its really strange
that may be possible blitz, but this is a really bad launch, a lauch that went well, then somehow it stopped working a day after and people here are already obsessing over elements, and forgetting demigod already its really ssad when pirates get more value out of a game
google 'shields up' it can test if ports are open if it says 'failed'..that means its opened
To Summarize... 1. Rename the movie file (dg_intro.bik) found in C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\movies 2. Start Demigod, DO NOT use the mouse or keyboard...watch the short AD movies, and get to a black screen. 3. Wait patiently (1 minute maybe a bit more) and the menu will display. I mentally counted, and it was about 70 seconds. M

Quoting Neoauld, reply 3 is elemental an expansion or a totally new game? New stardock game. Think Master of Magic, or if you are too young to remember that think super cool fantasy style civilization 4. In other words it is Turn Based Strategy.
ive never liked turn based strategy id rather they make this game last years, and add xpacs to it/new content patches.
Really depends on which parts of the game matter the most for you. Let's go with the worse case scenario. We still plan to work wtih GPG to release 2 free Demigods. There will still be free updates for roughly a year. And all the multiplayer stuff will be heavily enhanced because it's also used in Elemental (the next game) so Demigod would piggy back on those features. So that's your worst case s
this better not be another one of those 'pirates win again' situations cause lately the gaming industry is turning into that with all the poor releases That and i would have wasted my money for multiplayer i could have gotten for free
as nervous as i was about this release, i htink it was done well considering what GS did its rare that i buy a game but this one meets my expections, lots of replay value, good graphics, and it seems like the dev's will continue to update it..cudnt be happier with this release as for GS..ive seen So many bad things about them. my friend once preordered a game and when he went to pick it up they sold his preorder and refused a refund..ive also done preorder
i want the single player to teach me the game..thats it as a dota player the real value of hte game will be in the multi
the collectors edition has a poster/action figure/sound track only right? nothing in game?
wow, i pre ordered last night just so i could get it ASAP..and now this..learned my lesson
