let your "higher-ups" know the lack of DRM
*Chortle* Since release I've noticed a trend for people to post things in the forums along the lines of "From my 2 hours and 16 minutes of play I have graduated from Knee Jerk university and for all my learning I do not understand this aspect of Demigod... which is an outrage!" Then a slightly confused mob gathers with pitchforks and torches and hurls abuse at the gates

Stardock has a fantastic reputation for continuing to develop titles for years. The incentive is customer loyalty and it's a big reason why I'm here. Edit: And I'm glad people enjoyed the joke [e digicons];P[/e]
I believe those stats were taken in beta and before the huge changes that took place in the day 0 patch
Sedna or Oak Seems like a pretty good distribution so far :)
But there are those of us who I love gaming on the PC.
Which of us in particular? [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] I'm a PC only gamer myself. A couple of months away from 30 so maybe I'm just fixed in my ways. I did try to get into consoles... they just never seemed to provide the same kind of experience that you get from PC games. As I see heavily console influenced titles released on PC (if they are released at all on that plat
Too much info ingame can completely ruin the interface. I think Stardock learned from GalCiv2 in this regard as its entirely possible to miss really important details under all the (extremely useful and necessary) data on screen. As this problem has somewhat annoyed me when playing GalCiv2 I am very pleased to see this wont be a problem in Demigod. To give everyone an idea of what I'm talking about I made a mock up of what this would like in Demigod. <a href="http://img2
I see I'm not the only one staving off the craving to play by repeatedly watching the vids...
I plan on playing a responsible amount given that I'm at university. Of course what is going to happen is i'll be playing it all the time until exams when I'll be so divorced from reality ill be yelling out "Silphius is Educated!" and other achievements as I write my essay.
Yeah obsel you got it quarter to six on the 10th of April [e digicons]:P[/e] I'm jealous of those of you that have it and I'd like to extend the Kudos to Stardock for providing tech support to those who got the game early despite the damage that early release is doing.
I generally spend more time watching replays of an RTS title then playing the game itself. I'll often not only watch replays of other people playing but I will also watch my own games to look at what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. This is a lot easier to do watching a replay with your feet on the desk and a drink in your hand than during the stress of a live game while hunched over the monitor with the mouse tightly gripped in your sweaty palm. Replays are a great w
I have not played yet so feel free to completely discount everything I say... Discussions like this suggest to me that theres some good balance going on. I don't think its a matter of how do you counter this but what does forcing a player to teleport mean? Obviously the respawn penalty is a bigger advantage but I think forcing a player to retreat gives you some advantage - in RTS terms map control. From what I've been able to gather there is a cast time on telepo
I've been anticipating Demigod since I first heard it announced on the GalCiv2 site. Up until this week I'd managed to curb my feverish enthusiasm for such things. Then I saw it resting on the coming soon shelf at EB and then I went beserk reading every review, watching every preview video and scouring the forums for information on which Demigod I'll be playing. It was so close to being here! Then I saw it listed as a May release for Australia [e digicons]8C[/e] I know I can
