How about instead of 50% off a game we already have, anyone who bought demigod early on gets free access to the Elemental Beta so you can show us that you aren't doing it again. With Demigod you charged us all $5 to access a barely functional beta, then early adopters get screwed because the people picking it up later have access to tons of 50% off coupons. This is just showing that early adopters gets burned with stardock.

The horrible release and general broken state of demigod that fans suffered through is worth something more than a coupon that I can never really use. You screwed early adopters when you dropped the price after they paid for beta and then you screwed them with a horrible release. Give them something they can use, like a $10 Stardock gift certificate or a free game. Microsoft did better when they had Xbox live become unstable during the holidays (they gave everyone a free g
You should e-mail and ask for a refund. The game was released unfinished strictly against their gamer's bill of rights. If they don't let you get a refund they are full of it.
There are network issues, such that 4v4 and 5v5 can be quite difficult to get going and the game flat out doesn't work for a number of players. It hasn't been fixed yet, but they claim a fix is in the pipeline. Try to remember the game for a month and come back later, see if it working properly.

You are just as bad as the DotA community. He has a right to be mad the game doesn't work properly and a right to his refund. He even expressed regret that it had to come to a refund and Stardock couldn't fix the game in a time
Upping the losing favor from 10 to the 30-45 range could go a long way. Also maybe some awards should be per team (the lower of the two just gets half.) A little encouragement could go a long way to encourage newbies to actually finish games. In addition there needs to be additional uses for favor once things get sorted out, such as buying titles, maybe buying unique demigod skins for a number of games, ect. People should always want to gather up some favor. Pe
Still broken, put it on the back burner for two weeks. Head to best buy, they got a bunch of stuff on sale for $9.99 (mostly console, but spread across all consoles), you can probably find something to hold you over for a week or two.
I don't like it. It doesn't seem very interesting or fun to play. Ability 1 is just a passive you use, not very interesting. Ability 2 is too similar to oak's shield. Ability 3 is alright, it just needs to prioritize demigods. If you can't guarantee damage to demigods when they are in the AoE it will be weak. Ability 5 is an unusual summon, but I think a more traditional would be better. 15% of a wave is nothing much and this ability relies to
Probably the best way to make it up to players would be add a number of demigods without charging people. More than just the 2 we heard about pre-release.
Setting all the items to 0 cost seems like a good temp fix until a real fix can go through.
Erebus is actually better at this than oak. Remember Oak's invulnerability lasts only 6 seconds at most and has about a 30 second cooldown. He is hardly invincible for a long time. So you should be able to protect your flags and drive him out of your base fairly easily in most situations. Erebus can just batform past the towers in the places where this works.
They are a steal. I find them really powerful later game. You push in, turn off one of their spawners, and lock it. Now they have 45 seconds down a spawn portal (and possibly spawning a bunch of crap in their base.) Early game, none of the flags are that great.
Doesn't anyone else find it ironic that someone who has a huge reputation for release horribly buggy unfinished games is trying to act all high and mighty over Stardock? Its kind of like Uwe Boll criticising a Scosese movie and telling you how he would have done it. It is really, really hard to take him seriously.
If you play Pantheon you'll lose all your favor items and points. I avoided it for a week, then decided to play it today, and lost 5000 favor worth of items. liq3, did you have your favor points and items at the beginning of the Pantheon match? Just curious if you lost them from the start of Panetheon or at the End of the Pantheon game.
You start with them and it may actually take a few g
The winning side gets nude pictures of the rook.
I agree completely, someone needs to immediately or almost immediately buy the health/repair upgrade. If you don't purchase it they slowly chip away at your outer towers. If you do purchase it, they stay healthy and standing much longer. The first exp upgrade is another big one. +10% from the start of the game adds up. The first gold upgrade is also great, but a bit pricey and available a little later. The later gold upgrades aren't such good deals.
Oak's spirits are created when stuff dies in ward range. It doesn't matter who kills them or what side they were on. Erebus's conversion aura seems to work the same way. Erebus is just strong vs mark, I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing. It is kind of an interesting relationship between the demigods.

They aren't just laughably easy to get, but once they are forcing you to choose between a favor item and something else at the start of a match, the benefit they give will decrease drastically.
No they aren't. They never costed gold thoughout the entire beta, never display a gold cost, and nowhere have I seen mention of this. Favor items function as a one t
If they fix losing favor it should be fine. You can only carry a single favor item. Thus a player need only target a few key favor items to get on a relatively level playing field. The grind for items would be minimal. I am disapointed custom games will not be giving favor anymore, however. This gets rid of the only way to play with friends and gain favor. Who cares is someone games the system to get some favor quickly. The power gap shouldn't be la
I remember Frogboy mentioning doing something about those who pre-ordered the digital download (and were charged) before the price drop. I thought it was resolved to shipping out box copies. Whatever happened to that? As I did pre-order before the price drop and haven't recieved anything.
Have to disagree. 14k is nearly enough to upgrade angels, catas and Giants all at once (400 gold short). It won't matter if someone on the enemy team has it, if half their team are stuck in base fending off waves of Giants. Also it won't help much vs a nuke heavy team (e.g. UB, Torchbearer and Rook) since if they're hanging around together, you'll get blown into oblivion before you get a chance to use it's damage, as well as stunned.
You act as if a team playing for a b
Demigod is getting hammered by the reviewers because it is sub-par. The single player is just skirmishes vs the AI, so the game is really all about the multiplayer. The multiplayer flat out didn't work innitially and still works poorly. When your game is pretty much all multiplayer and the multiplayer doesn't work, that's bad. Truth is, these reveiws are being very generous with demigod. With a launch like this it probably doesn't deserve any higher than a 5 out

Try playing fortress. Its like conquest only shorter. You basically have to push 75% of the way into their base. It plays a bit more interesting too, as there a number of key points you want to defend.
