Mines need buff. Trust me, At least mines should not disappear in current way. For example, I put three mines on the flag. And I throw three mines on an enemy demigod. Now I have three total positioned. But as soon as I throw another three, the ones on the flag gone. This really defeats the actual definition of "mine" in this game. Unless this is fixed/buffed you will see more and more people spamming mines as grenades.</p

HoL will be fine until people finally figure out how to "pressure" their opponents properly. I mean, there are some people who are saying "giants on Crucible are pointless", showing that they have no idea how to "pressure" their oppoents. I am not surprised they also do not see great imbalance of HoL.
There is no capping on being slow (the code is broken.) Do not use abilities easily when faced reg, even with MoB + Mines + Maim combo, you become almost immobile for a while.

Argh, mines at max level only does 450 x 3 = 1350 damage, it is same as TB's fireball maxxed with "Fire and Ice" And you can kill towers as fast as AoF Regulus.... just throw mines at towers while attacking. Yes, mines work againt building as well, and they are quite effective (since buildings cannot dodge) With this Regulus is probably only one demigod that can actually counter tower rook.
This item is one of biggest reasons that burst damage > constant damage. HoL should be removed from the game IMO, it is just plain ridiculus in some cases. And yes, range-attack characters -Reg, TB, Rook(yes Rook is ranged) and Queen- greatly benefit from HoL.
If you play with minions, you are effectively screwed against any demigods with some AOE abilities.... which a lot of them already have. It is just joke againt TB, and for Regulus' mine case it is more double edged. You may clear mines that were thrown as "mines" but minions are nothing more than triggers for Regulus' mines thrown as "grenades" to you; you may move quickly to avoid mines, but the minions WILL go over the mines and explode, doing damage to you as well.</

When both sides got giants and all of late game stuffs, only way to finish the game is back-dooring/ninja capping. If we can't do this, those late games will result in stalemate.

As Spooky said, default net_lag of demigod is 350...... And yet so many people (including some who post here) just fail to understand what's this mean. It is all about spiking. Without spike, even ping of 400 is acceptable, and I remember I had a game with both aussie and EU folks, which surprisingly had no lag problems with the ping of 400ish.
Mystic, Totem of revelation increases your vision radius passively if you have it in your inventory (+5 vision radius.) And they are dirt cheap that you may spam it on the center of the map, allowing to see which demigod(s) is/are heading to where. Lack of usage of consumable items and no totem of revelation hurt you a lot in early game.
It seems favor pts server also cannot remember what I bought other than items shown alreaady purchased...
