Personally I've taken to Erebus on Crucible because he's awesome at holding flags and killing enemies that stray too far from their tower line. Plus after a bite, no one outruns him, giving me a free getaway. However, I don't feel any map should be DG-specific, which is why I'm looking for more generic strategies.
Another effective Strategy I employ on this map is fight the creep wave before the towers so my creeps
Snipe is only a 15 second cooldown and if one of you is dead that leaves 5 regulus vs 4 others on the arena I would bet on the 5 regulus. And if the 5 were smart they would keep sniping the level 1 person keeping him behind in levels making it a 5 vs 4 fight and just think of all the added gold regulus would get by having 4 assists to every kill 250 + 50 per level. That is minimum of 1200 gold every time for the assisting. of the kill
Citadel upgrades - In this strategy, priests should be purchased as soon as possible (i.e. war rank 3) because they will be used early. Creep upgrades are also usefull (dmg/hp). Skip everything else. No tower upgrades, no experience upgrade, no money. Spend your cash on items/pots/tp scrolls to gain an early advantage, you are not playing a long game here. This can either Win you the Game (mostly against lesser c

You made my day Nice post, please keep these good jokes coming **kidding**<
Do not forget to get the Parasite Egg
This map is giving me a lot of trouble. Victory hinges on that gold mine flag, but I keep feeling like certain demigods don't have a hope in hell of actually capturing that flag. The key problem is that the flag is so far away from the towers and mobs. If you have to run while you're out there, it's a LONG way back, and if an enemy demigod moves faster than you it's basically a death sentence. That forces you to use teleport scrolls, but that's no

I know I did I am the noob that lambdaman talked about in the post above. after reading and following this post, last nite we won 2 out of 3 games, and in all 3 games i have less then 4 dead. See? Not all the stupid noob don't read post like this Also, question for Mark of Betrayer, a lot of people love them, but is
All the generals have great responses to this. Oak's shield, Sedna's heal, and QoT's brambles can all block or negate a coordinated snipe. All these abilities can target a friendly demigod and can be used to interrupted this combo quite effectively. Erebus can also turn into mist form to avoid this concentrated fire if he anticipates it. I think it's the assassins that have trouble, and in fact I've found the assassins t
Nicely said, no build should really be static, it should change depending on who you are up against, map, your team mate, etc. I will usually change who I choose to play with depending on what my opposition is. I always wait until everyone is readying up before I make my final choice. I've never really played Regulus so I have no real idea on what to get / what not to get. However, your build is different than anything I'

I'd love to try a build from someone who's played the game for 9 months, you could at least post your build too .
Unlike you zombies that copy a build my build changes after level 6 everygame depending on who I am playing other DemiGods( types), War Rank, size of game(ex. 3 v 3), Gametype( conquest, slaughter, domination or fortress) and Aren
Quoting HorseRadish, reply 8 As a pretty good Regulus player I would not do either build you suggest. And do not care for most of the items you listed but then hey good luck if you win with it Congratulations Sir, your post is absolutely useless. Please try again. And while you are at that, go look up the word "Constructive" in a dictionary, since obviously it is too hard for you to grasp. <br /
The key is to end the game before late-game. 480-540 damage per shot with 0.5 attack speed means a lot of artifacts. Throwing half that money into catapaults and giants will probably win you the game much faster. The thing about Snipe is if it gets you a couple early kills, it's a big momentum boost for your team. It's harder to measure how all that extra gold and xp you have over the team translates to your later success
Dont give Snipe much priority. Give it one point at level 3 then leave it alone for a very long time. It doesnt help you level substantially. Go AF level 1, Stats level 2, Snipe level 3, then you should be hitting up AF and Stats at all possible opportunities except for perhaps a point in MoB and eventually Scope when you get to the point where you are messing with towers (which is fairly late actually). Remember that speed
Hey Guys, I am having trouble playing Reg in 2v2. This is not the case in 3v3+ where I generally do the most DPS out of anyone in the game The problem lies with me not being able to level fast enough and since their are fewer heroes, there is more focus placed on me an I tend to die more. I ussually play very defensively, its not that I am taking dumb chances, but at some point I need to get some creeps, or flag caps so I can
I am so sick of crappy Regulus builds. you guys need to learn that you need to dominate from level 5 on with him most of my games are really decided by level 10
Hi all, This is a build I'm having a lot of fun with, so I decided to share. Nothing special in it, but you might like it.
You could be right cus as far as im concern ive never seen sum1 play as regulus that wasnt terrible
You are missing out look for some of us Beta Tester Regulus players we will show you a bad ass Regulus!!! Gotta promise you take you butt whooping in stride no rage quitting
Most of us do play on GameRanger or just sporadically the beta testers we basically play against each other since most of you so called self proclaimed good players still have a lot to learn. It is not always fun to destroy every self proclaimed new good player you play so why play?
If you know someone is going to come for you at a flag like another poster said lay mines in the direction they are coming and Have MoB cued up to hit them as soon as they get in range then get mines re-cued up again.
custom games > partheon
No custom is not > why play vs a predefined team if you get a bunch of noobs to play with think about all options before you post crap advise. skirmish is probably best at least you can use any Demigod.
