I actually brought this up in IRC last night as well, and completely agree. In addition to the TANKINESS of The Rook and Oak (as well as a non-Summoner Sedna) Three of the four Light-side Demigods have skills that are centered around taking down an enemy Demigod with extreme speed. The Rook has Hammer Slam (which doesn't have to hit directly), Reggie has ungodly amounts of damage output, and Sedna has Pounce. Oak has a solid DPS, the ability to shield himsel

http://forums.demigodthegame.com/336641 I reported the same thing, but it seems your report provides a little more detail :-P But yes, I've experienced this same bug/interface problem.
Sedna's skill Healing Wind II was not available for me at Level 5, while other skills listed at Level 5 were. When I reached Level 6, however, the skill became available. Not sure what the deal was, but it was definitely a discrepancy between what the game told me and what the game allowed me to do.

As the thread title says, my Regulus the Butcher achievement is not unlocking, despite having killed almost 100 Demigods as Regulus now. (55 in a single game, even.) Here's an image showing the Achievement Screen, which you can see does not have the unlock graphic, despite the bar being full:

In addition, it'd be nice to have a Minimap, with the ability to waypoint/ping spots on it for allies to see.

Followed your instructions. Still crashing every time I rush the flag in the first few minutes to get early archers. I don't know how to attach my dxdiag file, so...I'll await further instruction.

Alright, I figured I'd make a forum post about this since I brought it up in IRC the other night and didn't develop it much. I touched on my idea there, but here I want to detail it a bit more. Currently, there are those 10 skills at the bottom of the skill menu..that raise your Demigod's base attributes a set amount. This kinda feels out of place, given the other skills available to the Demigods..and currently, the only Demigod I feel the need to obtain those skills wit

Just before you tried the attack, had you captured a flag as Regulus? I've had problems twice with the game locking on the first attack used after capturing the center flag as a player-controlled Regulus. EDIT: Just re-tested this theory and had no problems with a lock-up after capturing the flag..so that theory's out the window. (In fact, captured all the flags on the map that time...)
Can't touch this?
Did EA have anything to do with the shut down?
Nope. According to some recent interviews, Namco caused Hellgate more problems than EA did. But mostly, it was because an incomplete product was released, and before the game could be improved, the majority of the fanbase was too jaded to continue supporting the game, and with so much negative word out about the game, box sales died instantly w/ith no respawn. <
Well, it's been over a month since Flagship Studios closed down, and the little Tugboat project known as Mythos was closed down. Those who were active in the Mythos Beta know what a strong community it had, and how supportive things were between the Devs and the players. I don't think a project will ever exist with a Dev-Player bond like the one Mythos had (except for maybe whatever RunicGames ends up making, since they ARE the entire Mythos team...the only one missing from the

The villain in the Mummy movies was a mummy named Imhotep. They found stuff in the Temple of Anubis in the first movie, thinking they were unearthing Hamunaptra instead.
I'm not sure if making certain demigods status effect only unless they can be viable in a 1v1. In other words, if a Demigod is vying for ascension but is only good at helping/hampering other demi's, then he's not worth of ascending. Teamplay is great, but at some point, each of the demi's will need to be able to fend for themselves.
Oh, by no means does the Demigod idea mentioned in the last four paragraphs of my post have to be purely support -- and if you read careful

If so, I agree -- status effects need to be easily recognized, to the point that when you see the effect, you kno
Vampire Lord (because it sounds ok) or Lord Nukekubi (because it sounds funny if you pronounce it right). The rest don't sound good in my opinion, and names with real words in them that are more like titles (Queen of Thorns, the Rook, the Oak) fit the game a little better.A picture would help us decide though
If they're going to keep with their current trend...then... One of my favorite game mechanics in any game with RPG elements most definitely has to be status effects. I'm not sure of what form in which these exist in Demigod (though, I assume they DO exist in some form by the While-Immolated skills from the Torchbearer), but I would love to see an Assassin (and maybe some recruitable from Generals) that makes use of several Status Effects. Burn damage over time, massive slowdown of advancing units over an area, blindness to reduce accuracy of
Can you give us a general idea what the Vampire Lord is like, other than Vampiric? Because I like the name "Echidna"...though that might present it effeminitely.
