I HIGHLY suggest looking into this forum post as it has links to many high quality guides about every aspect of the game. (Compilation Post - Only post stickied in the strategies section, and for good reason) http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349958

That's just plain numbers. But the whole point is, is DG a game about raw DPS or teamplay? When your write "damage IS control", I couldn't agree less. Controling a fight is determining the outcome, in other words knowing if you can defeat your opponenent or if you will have to run oom or ou

I have had a total of 12 online games half those as a fire TB the other half as Ice or Hybrid I know this isnt a ton of experience. However, I agree a 100 % that the fire TB late game is weak in terms of skill spell damage, it just isnt enough to counter Hp stacking the spell don&r

I have to say that while most of the modes aside from conquest are rarely seen, and most people stay to the default settings....perhaps players could either signify what the intended mode was or you could somehow see what the current settings of a game were without joining it. It is highly frustrating to get into a game only to realize it's slaughter or fortress...or even that you start at level 20, just to have to disconnect and look for another game. Whi
Ice Torchbearer can be highly effective late game, but seems to flounder early on. This is a game that I just played where Regulus and Unclean Beast were handing our @$--- to us early on, but is a great example of the high performance late game of Ice Torchbearer. Also yes, we waited for a really long time to upgrade our minions and once we did since they had no AoE (Not a Mines Regulus) and how ice torch seems to get exponentially more effective we were able to take c
Hm, well, I must say my survivability went way up with Circle of Fire. I now don't pick up Fireball as soon as mentioned and support allies with Fire Aura and get better stats, but overall, I doubt I'd be doing as well with Fireball as I had been trying to before. Guess I underestimated the power of Circle of Fire. Great tutorial and followup posts. Much appreciated.
Thanks LordMerlock! I will t
Quoting Euandros, reply 13- Reply to Drasked Fair enough, i guess that favor item combo with circle of fire is pretty obvious anyway. Tho i don't agree with taking circle of fire as the first skill, if you play a lot of pre-arranged games against teams who know what they are doing you will find that fireball as first skill can be pretty essential for making the first few kills. It's not that it matters that much since yo
How would you like running into multiple sednas in general? Does the healing aura stack?
Immolation works perfectly. Fantastic compilation here, negates the desire I had to divide the forum. Since the Title was stilted initially I went with yours Torchbearer: The Immolation sounds particularly bad-###. Also I posted my "Enemy Demigods, what you need to know" in a separate post as I believe it is something everyone should know, regardless of whether they play torchbearer or not...plus it's pretty and I believe deserved a seperate post. If you have a preference to one or the other, or if the title is the actual title you were after, let me know and I will
- Reply to Drasked For starters, I came up with the idea of the dagger on my own otherwise I would happily have posted credit - if you want you can take a look at how many matches I played early on and that I tried all the DGs out online to get an idea of how that's possible (The games list function on the leaderboards/account pages works at least). I started creeping the forums after I wrote most of my guide, and want to point out that I had not even s

I'm personally not that big a fan of Heart of Li
Hm, my style differs in that I do my best to live up to the Assassin title and get fireball first and foremost. In fact, I don't get Circle of Fire at all until there's nothing else left to acquire. Am I wrong in assuming that using Circle of Fire early on makes the Torch Bearer vulnerable? I mean, you basically have to be near your enemies to cast it, and while it might be great against reinforcements, if you face up again
I actually just wrote a guide on Fire Torchbearer, as I have no doubt in my mind that playing as full fire can be highly effective both early game and late game. Torchbearer of the Immolation (Fire) Guide http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350605 My guide is b
