I dont know what is going on. I told both brandon and futileemotion the hours i can get on but i havent heard much of a response from them. I did have a couple of practice games with brandon but that was earlier last week. I havent heard from him this week.

I am no rts noob according to that article. Usually my approach to rts games is a good offense is also a good defense.

I usually go pure ice build myself. Its really nice having the sort of control the ice build gives you. But I really think that they should give permafrost a bump. It should be parallel to fire aura. With permafrost and the speed anklet you pretty much harass people with aa early game. I do admit that i miss having that burst damage that t

Im gonna second what captainanderson said. Those core iX are great for gaming. Benchmarks show them doing good vs the Phenoms X2's. The only down side is that you will only have 2gb of memory as oppose to 4gb which is not that big of a loss when it comes to gaming. Though i would go with the core i3 530. The core i3 540 doesnt give you that much of a performance leap over the i3 530. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115222

With that budget the best bang for your buck would be to go with AMD. I was hoping to go with a socket AM2+/AM3 mobo so you can get a cheap deal on memory but looks like they just upped the price of DDR2 RAM. So I went with an ASUS AM3 mobo. For the CPU I don’t think you can beat the X3 720. Its fast enough stock to run you all games no problem and it will perform better vs a dual core in games

Being a fan of the first two Fallouts and waiting for a long time for this game to come out i must say I was really dissapointed with Fallout 3. Even as a stand alone game it was just a mediocre. The whole time I played it just reminded me too much of ES4. Story was lame. Plot was even worse. Dialog was pathetic. Combat was too repetitive and not fun. VATS doesnt seem like it was fleshed out and real time combat was just terrible. Not a single npc that was intere

I will post some of my replays when i get home. I primarily play TB and experimented different builds on the character. I even tried out your nice little build with some sucess. But currently i am playing an ice TB with good results. Yes i do alot of form dancing to try and optimize all the bonuses. And yes Frost Aura needs to be buffed to match Fire Aura, the extra mana per second that you get from it is a joke. I still take Frost Aura over stats though it can help your team to chase so

I agree the all random games are really fun. I usually try to join them anytime i see them. i had one game where everyone on our team was queen and it was so much fun. We dominated that game. It felt very overpowering. The hammer rooks would scare me alot more than anything. If they got a good aim on boulder roll then its gg. Personally i dont mind doubles. I played in a game with a pre-made once, they had 4 regulus, all had snipe and all had heavens wrath. I

Hey epi, Are you suggesting i should have had more health items? I think i had banded+nimoth+unbreakeables and a couple of pots with me. What else could i have gotten health wise?

23 Replies 3,463 Views

1. You might be right. The two potions might be enough to give you more staying power. I will give it a shot with my tb build just to see how it works out. Ive been trying out banded armor, 1 pot, and tp lately and its been working fine for me. 2. No denying that but most people start out at really high health and even with the attack bonus of switching to ice mode i find it difficult to cut down thier health before i start to drop low on my health. Maybe thats were the 2 po

That was pretty fun wasnt it? Both teams were pretty evenly match and were going back and forth. I think our biggest problem was that our oak died far too many times early in the game. Giving you guys a huge advantage in gold and war score early on. But when it looked like it was over for us we did a pretty good job of defending the base and even pushing you guys back for a bit. But in the end we just counldnt take acvantage of any opportunities we might of had. You guys even had the reduced

Pretty nice build there. But just a couple of comments here. Most of the time at the begining of the game you wont get hit much with aa as much as you are going to get hit with abilities. I think that it would be much better if you get banded armor rather than scalemail to start out. Im sure youve tried it already but permafrost level 1 is and boots of speed is pretty big. makes it so you can auto attack most melee demigods and keep backing away if they try to get in range to aa

I also play a hybrid TB build. Though i dont put a single point of fireball until at least level 5 since i think its a waste to use against most other demigods. I rather have a point permafrost to slow the other demigods and one point in deep freeze. I think its alot more effective early on to just engage other demigods already in switched into ice and just start harrassing them from a safe distance. Not until level 5 or 6 is when i finally devote points to fireball.

Fallout 1 & 2. Theres been a couple of great RPGs over the years but theres nothing that has come close ever since.

Usually when we are behind and there is absolutely no chance our team will ever catch up i ask my partners if they want to conceede. Most of the time they will either agree or play it out a bit longer. If they want to keep going i have no problem with finishing the game.
