Cloak of Thorns Description is Confusing in FE Support Elemental Forums

Cloak of thorns description says "25% of the damage done to the target is reflected back to the caster." Seems like "caster" should be changed to "attacker" or "attacking caster". When I first saw this spell I thought it was designed to have the caster of cloak of thorns absorb 25% of the protected character 's damage the way it was written (I thought maybe it was primarily for casters to protect their familiars or something of that sort).

Broken loyalties is a pretty good use of influence. I've used it to wipe out factions before; capture their last 2 or 3 cities without a fight.

I also have this issue in my current game. The problem may or may not have started when I summoned my familiar with my sovereign, which lowered his movement from 6 to 2. I then moved the familiar off the stack, and a little bit later is when this started. At first it only targeted my sovereign, but since then it has affected pioneers also. I have tried turning explore on and off, doesn't work.
