I think someone has played a little too much DOTA above me :) my bells are ringing with hearing M-M-M-Monster kill and First Blood lol... stolen from unreal tournament of course. This works for me too, I actually took off the 14th, because I work midnight shift in a police dept. (I know right :P I use a personal day for Demigod release... jeez lol) so I will most likely be playing throughout the 14th into the 15th as I dont go back into work until 11pm on the 15th. *** New Edits Added to Bottom of Post 05/05/09 *** I posted this before, but I think it get overlooked, I was thinking it would be kinda cool to utilize the "Favor Points" aspect of the game in order to, instead of just offering items, unlock different color skins for our current 8 demigods. These skins could cost a LOT of favor, so players have something to work up to that seperates their demigod from a (for lack of a better term) newb, my example was, we take the Black/Red Unclean b
I would have to say that the only thing that I had to re-read when I read the previews for this game was that only 8 playable demigods would make it into the release. It's that unique factor as Cerulean_Shaman stated best, players like spawning and knowing they are the only one in the room with the powers and abilities of their current demigod. I havnt played the beta at all, but I was a big DotA fan. This game isnt DotA but I think the initital 8 Demigods could use some new friends to add to the variety. Basically I think it is well known that new Demigods for a game of this "genre" are obviously going to happen. I heard an interesting idea, not sure who it was from so I cant give them their rightfull credit, but instead of favor points being able to purchase just items, maybe have new skins for each Demigod that could cost

Hey I was woundering what the actual "Retail Box" means, I know it means I will be able to download the game on the 14th and that I will be getting a retail box shipped to my house. However my question is, does the retail box come with its own CD's as well, or am I just getting a box with a manual? Seems like a silly question I know, but I was woundering because it specifiys "Retail Box" not CD's. I guess I am one of those people that still doesnt trust just getting a digital download
