It's a known bug I believe. They're having to do the updates across the database manually or some such.

I fully agree and support their game and the example they are setting to the industry in terms of communicating to customers. Now if only they'd put the posts they've made letting everyone know what they're doing to sort technical issues, into the technical support forum too :P.
Please can you make this a sticky in the tech support forum.
Tekkor I think there would be less posts if Stardock put that 'issues we've taken on board and are working on' posts in the technical issues forum, as that's where most people are going if they have technical issues.
Hope you guys have some good coffee! I've said this in another thread, but as there's a good chance it won't get read by someone who can make this happen, I'll also post it here. It'd be really useful if GPG could make a sticky post which details all the currently reported issues you guys have taken on board. That way people won't keep making posts quite as much. At the moment the only way users know if you're working on something is through fragmented posts on the board. It'd
It's great news to hear you guys are working on this. Can I suggest you make a sticky detailing all the issues you acknowledge have been highlighted and that you're working towards a resolution on? I think that'd save a lot of peoples time and a load of threads. Cheers.
This seems to be a common issue for many customers. I do agree though, how this got through beta is beyond me. I love the game but this isn't really something that should have had market launch in the current state.
It would be interesting/helpful to understand, in the scenario where one or two players fail to complete their connections, what is Demigod expected/trying to do in that scenario? Please refer to this posting: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345345
Unfortunately this doesn't really help my particular issue as I'm just plumbing straight into my cable modem so none of this should be an issue. When attempting to play a
It seems that when viewing the list of 'internet games', Demigod automatically refreshes are regular intervals, in addition to the manual refresh button. Very regularly, when it's seemingly doing the automatic refreshes, or, when hitting the manual refresh button, the game freezes during the fresh. Sometimes, the length of the freeze is so long that you only have a second or two do actually do any action before the game attempts to refresh (and subsequently freeze) again. Would be good if thi
I haven't been able to get one online game of Demigod of any sort yet :(. I know this is not a firewall/port router issue in my case. Disappointingly the status window is often throwing up various bits of XML code during a search. Not good.
I also have this issue. My name change isn't following through into Demigod games. Happy to provide any further info if you require examples.
Any other users find it difficult to play Pantheon? I often end up with a blank message window without anything happening and just 'cancel' in it. I do sometimes get the 'connection info' window (at that point any message in the normal 'status windows' goes blank), but often there is one person who 'fails' to connect to some of us and then nothing else happens - this isn't very informative as to what is happening at that moment in time and the problem seemingly never resolves. <p
