Read this awhile ago and was thinking about it in relation to other games in the genre and related genres. So getting back to the balance of "holdable" resources on the map. There should be some sort of flexability on multiple levels to powering your various spells. By multiple levels, I mean you should be able to get everything you want, but you should have multiple choices on the what is the focus and specialization. Imagine if there were various "guil
LORD-ORION
Yeah, it is not a great item, but it does OK for DA. To be clear, it is the last item you get in a typical game. eg: After you have nature's rec, then you upgrade scale mail to duelist's cuirass. I don't take it for anyone else. The point being with DA, your other low cost life choices are Hauberk which does nothing really for him or Bloodstone ring, which is not really a bad choice either. However, if you play DA in the 2on1 scenarios like you should, it is better to be able
Uhm Orion, I would consider that a rather inferior build to blood DA.
DA's job is not to fight 1vs1. It is to do maximum damage in a 2on1 or 3on2 and then make sure the weakest cannot escape. This is the mistake of blood builds. Blood is great, but it runs out of mana way too fast, or DA gets too weak later and DA gets raped when he goes into battle because he has 3.5K life and no armor. Banded + Scalemail gives y
The game we played with me as queen was certainly a funny game, but cmon the other team had no clue how to play. Anyway I would say staff is also superior to both Bots since you dont have AOE to take advantage of it and its imho also better than Essence since I doubt that you can play without mana items with only essence. Why is staff better than blood? Simple. As DA you need 3 things, damage, health(surviveability) and man
Don't forget you must take Swift Anklet
Not that you need advice, but standard Rook rules apply to all builds. Rule 1 You must have towers Rule 2 If you are fighting someone outside of your towers, you are going to die... maybe not to the guy you are fighting, but if you are playing people who know what they are doing, they are going to tele in and kill you before you can withdraw. Rule 3 If you get caught in a 2on1 before you have boulder, you are going to die Rule 2 applies Rule
OK... there are 3 clans in DG. 2 of them are 2 letter abbrevations and start with the letter g WTF
Please give Occ an interrupt. :D
Hah! BoTS would not help queen as much as you think it would. Mana regen is a problem, true... but BoTS does not help how fast you can blow through mana in a battle as QoT. The bad "Old Way" Queen- 1 exchange Shield IV- 840 Spike IV- 750 Spike IV- 750 Wave I- 750 Shield IV- 840 3930 mana The good "New Way" Queen- 1 exchange Shield I- 400 Spike IV- 750 Spike IV- 750 Wave I- 750 Mulch II- 250 Shie
Shamblers: Has to be online, it doesn't crash offline. Has happened 2 times in the way I described. Thinking deeper, there was a QoT on both teams this happened. Doesn't mean it is the cause, I am just trying to figure it out by throwing stuff out there. Soul Power: let's look at chart 2 and not count the 20 base damage. Level 1- 80 points spirit potential Level 2- 20 points spirit potential Level 3- 20 points spirit potential You are telling me they
re: Oak Soul Power 1) You have to be more specific, I'm not sure what bug you are talking about. I don't see anything that suggests Soul Power should capped with a maximum effective spirit number. 2) re: Heart of Fire & Soul of Ice The abilities are somehwat mixed up. Whenever you turn into Cold form, you get the Fire Buff. Whenever you turn into Fire Form, you get the Cold Buff. Also, it isn't the descriptions,
I will see if I can recreate the Shambler thing. The one combo that seems to cause the invalid gamestate for me is having various levels of shamblers in play, a + health minion item is added, and then using shamblers III. Hrmm.... this also means I am at the health crystal all the time when I do this. Wonder if there is something funky with the healing and the minion health fix.
That would work pretty well on prison actually. It needs healing wind though, I'd just push back inner grace for it
With Horn? Probably use that point somewhere else.
Please post your Yeti build, I want to try it. Skills, Items, basic ideas etc...
First thing that comes to mind is "Satan fail" syndrome... everyone knows that the real number of the best is 616, and it was just the secret number assigned to Decius when Christians were secretly messaging each other. Christians really thought he was the devil after the persecution they recevied. So he's not a team player and he's also historically inaccurate with his mythology. I won't play him, don't worry.
Do you ever play this build with staff of renewal Teseer? If so, what items...
This tutorial needs to also mention how to change costs. Clearly it can be done, as mods have done it, but there is no info on doing such a thing that I could find with search.
Noticed something bad... Sigil should not be fired if mark of the betryer is on and it will kill them. Of course this is something in general (don't kill yourself with MoTB) but Sigil seems to be the one with the most problems since the AI wants to use it when it has low life. Been a couple of AIs suiciding themselves and blowing the sigil at the same time. ;)
This also reminds me... Yetis may not be as bad as we thought it you focus on Yeti life and armor instead of damage output. Seems to me that life +i armor is the way to go... may take longer to force a withdrawl, but Yeti's can take a pounding which is a different approach to fighting then most minion builds.
This reminds me... it is possible to be too quick on the draw with QoT shield. Got baited by Pacvov's team... they looked like they were focuing on our LE... and as soon as I shieled him, I ate a huge focus fire from 3 DGs... I had 1 second to go before the next shield, and I died. This is the Zen of DG... manuvering your enemy into a situation in which there is no alterantive except to die. Try as you might... there is nothing you could do.
How to play If you die YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG! :D
Mark my words. You think people suck and feed now? Wait to see what happens if BotF gets nerfed/removed
Literally, because they'll take charm of life and be able to feed 10% faster. :D
Mother fail build :D (OK that is mean, but there is a reason) For taking shamblers at level2 with a minion build. ;) The reason... shamblers are expensive, summon 2 at the health crystal at the start of the match, so you can have mana to shield at level2. You really can push people off the flag using 2 shamblers + 2 monks at level 1.

Or kill her because she's open for 5 seconds
If you don't fear it why do you avoid it or interrupt it? Because it is devastating...... Ring of Fire is something you don't fear... :D
