My apologies CosMoe, but perhaps you should take a closer look at the opponents I have faced in spite of there being no "Pro" or "Premade" in the name. I could post some of them if you'd like? Save you the trouble of having to look? http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/874799/player/36792/ http://pantheon.demigod
Hahaha...I don't have a 190 win streak for nothing pac's...my boys aint no slouches!
So, being the curious and adventurous guy that I am, I decided to try one of the recent mods that have been posted on the Demigod forums. What a hilarious endevour that turned out to be. There I was, expecting Fire Torchbearer to auto attack while moving, but instead I received an 800 foot smack-talking statue. Don't believe me? See for yourself!
[quote who="vexerz" reply="8" id="2338395"]Stardock Pls take note there's definitely a rift and increasingly growing resentment amongst inexperienced players (to put it nicely) vs experienced players. The word "Premade" has become a buzzword now as a knee jerk reaction to alot of the community as something negative. Most of these premades are just players familiar with 1 another or good friends that enjoy grouping together.Sure you got the whole VOIP noobstompers advertising non pr
[quote who="Twinsen" reply="40" id="2334394"] Quoting Polynomial, reply 35 Thus, as its said in this thread before, my speculation would be Demigods drop potions to keep people in the fight rather than having to run back to the crystal to heal up. You won a fight and you need to go back to heal? Ugh. If that is the case, why don't give the killing team the bonus. It seems like some here just wants to side-track the discussion. I didn't start this to stop reinforcing kills
The trouble I'm having with this post is that far too many people have resigned to the fact that dying is an inevitability when playing Demigod. If you play in a game you will die ; this is certainly not the case. My impression of the awards you recieve for killing someone is that they not only encourage team work and strategy, but they also should be an important method of discouraging death. Rather than opting to change the rewards, which are designed to benifit everyone, why not fo
At long last the day has come where my fellow Rooks, Sednas, and DG's from all walks of of life can rejoice! No longer will we have to hide in pitiful fear at the echoing sound that has plagued the lanes of Demigod these recent weeks. With the sudden and long overdue removal of horn of battle; I, Jaybuddai, would like to annouce my candidacy for Mayor of Paybacksville! I would consider it a great and distinguished honour to usher us into a brand new age in demigod; one where towers are not cr
This can be a very shady situation, as one snipe at 100% health won't mean anything to an enemy hero. However, several snipes to the same enemy player can often effect a hero more than they know. For example, one of my teammates, McShane87, often uses this technique of consistantly sniping the same hero over and over as time allows in between capturing flags and farming xp. At first glace, this may seem to be a pointless tactic, but as the game progresses the effects become more and more noti
Those are some very well thought out points, Pendrix. I agree with you that he is a phenominal push/lane-control Demigod, which is why in most situations, it is my belief that he's an indispensible part of most teams. That being said, it's important to note that I also believe due to the diversity of the current maps (ie: flag-type, creeps, tower location), that one single team can be just as effective on one map as it can on another. So far, the key to my success with Roo
