Eh... it's not such a huge deal. The huge amount of towers there, and the fact that any smart opponent will be ready to teleport back and beat your pale ass into the ground discourages it. Erebus has a very hard time surviving against 2 light towers, two arrow towers, and a demigod at the same time.
i dont know which crucible you are playing, but the one i know doesnt have any towers ne

He can also teleport across the gap between the gold mine and celerity flags, or from the middle to the XP flag. Hey, thank you very much, i willl certainly try this one out. But how would you think about spending 3 points in circle of fire instead of fire nova? I personally think it's a pretty effective skill for keeping enemies at a distance which is very important for tb. you could initiate fight with circle of fire retreat to the edge of it and cast a fireball, then switch to frost and cast spells, then autoattack a bit, switch back to fire, cast circle and so on... How about it?

3: it has already been posted here very detailed in some thread: let's say you have two towers and one enemy. the enemy stands 10m away from tower1 and 20m from tower2. let's assume the tower range would be 10m. the first tower is able to hit the enemy directly, the second is not. but in fact tower1 is in range of tower2, so it uses the range of tower1, shooting through it at the enemy. so linking towers does not precisely increase damage bu

I'd also prefer frost aura because it's important to keep the distance to your opponents when playing tb and the decreased movement speed helps pretty much for that.
Trouble is you're more anti creep than anti DG when you do that and very very frail.
This would be a great disadvantage, i guess, wouldnt it?

How come that everytime i play a fire-and-ice-style with torchbearer, which actually i think is very cool, i kinda seem to suck, but everytime i play a torchbearer specialized on either ice or fire i am pretty good? It seems to me that specialized is much better because you get the better skill-levels much earlier. Does anyone have a good idea of how to play a hybrid which is really good? I would be grateful for any advice..
