Actually, to get rally you have to sacrifice most of the benefit of spirits (you'd be passing up 300 dps from spirits alone, plus 80 weapon damage for oak), unless you mean getting it after spirits. Otherwise you have to finish out DJ previously, which means forgoing spirits / sp. The difference between DJ 2 / 3 and SP 2 / 3 is minimal and I thought about putting a slash to say "get whichever you want." Generally I don't find myself experiencing mana issues after lvl 15, but

Hot water is a discovery, just like fire, electricity, timber, etc. I would imagine it's not higher up on the list simply because many people have that same rationale (hence why fire and electricity aren't even on the list at all). It existed before we came along. Otherwise why isn't timber on that list? We've learned several great uses for it just like for hot water, but it's not an invention.

Nominating Zudoteteka for Tier 2 He had an understanding of how to split monks and monks / clerics, had a proper build / items, knew when to port and how / when to fake port, general map strategy, he talked often enough to listen to whatever advice I gave him / which cit upgrades to get, and the deciding factor for me was he knew how to use mass charm / mist very effectively. He also has decent stats and doesn't play noob games.
