I will be a happy man if 1.01 finally lets me connect to people. *has 0% connection online.
considering the cultural phenomenon that DOTA has become in Singapore, I am quite surprsed to have seen ZERO SG games since I first started playing online. Quite disappointed really. Where are all the singaporeans?? are they still playing DOTA so religeously they refuse to try something new?? Guys, please - tell your friends about this game. It has aweseom potential.
Those Under 17 kids got no money to buy
Quoting CallTheVoid, reply 21I hope they do something soon. I hate seein' one lagger drop from the game and cause EVERYONE to lose their connection. P2P really sucks!! I want something server based! just go die in a fire already, internetz wise at least...
I think they will go drown a few cats instead.
Ask someone who shares the same ISP as you if they are having connection problems. For me, online connection is still 0%. Hope 1.01 fix it.
*prays for 1.01 to get Singnet be able to connect tml.
1.01 coming Friday for us. I hope we singnet user will be able to play online with it.
I will be a happy man if 1.01 finally lets me be able to play online :(
so your saying the only people that can play this game are people with GREAT internet connections? Broadband is generally considered to be 256 kilobit or better. 256kilobit in 2009 is not "great". It's the minimum. The person making this post has 130 kilobits but wants to connect to 6 people online. Someone could argue that the game shouldn't "need" 160 kilobits to have a 6 person game but they could
Quoting SirDigger, reply 5damn i rly start to struggle with buying this game. is the connection problem rly that huge? or can some people actually play without problems. if u have a decent connection and mild knowledge of your router than connections are perfectly fine...
Unless the problem lies in your DSL ISP.
When Demigod starts selling in SG officially, there will be a massive outcry from Singnet users.
Well on the single player side ... at least I now know that Sedna becomes a messager between the worlds and a compassionate queen. Best of luck Kon45.
You really seem to enjoy playing Single Tournament.
I suggest u join Skirmish instead of hosted game. Becos u will get kick with a ping > 250
Well finally got my box set from Upp Serangoon. Will install it tonight and hope to see some local players on the server when I do start Multi!
He won't be happy if he is using Singnet.
Maybe your internet connection got disconnected and you are the host and thus dropping off everyone else?
It will be nice if we can kaobei Singnet why we cannot connect when Starhub can connect. Anyone on Pacnet? You can connect or not?
Quoting Seeker2012, reply 9 I wish Stardock change to Client/Server Hosting instead of using the current p2p. i disagree
Reason for disagreeing? It would be an instant fix for everyone's connection issues. What is why Frogboy already said they will be going Client/Server for their next game Elemental.
I wish Stardock change to Client/Server Hosting instead of using the current p2p.
All we Singnet user can do now is to wait like an idiot for a supposely miracle patch that will let us connect to others. :(
I will be a happy man if 1.01 lets me connect with other players :(
1.01 the miracle patch? I think maybe 1.05 might be more realistic :(
More interesting in online play connections being fixed :(
:( Can't play the game online with Singnet. Tried everything from opening ports, firewall, /serverproxyonly Hope 1.01 will fix the problem. Why can't they o with the traditional Client/Server Hosting instead and play with p2p. Haiz give so much problem.
