@ Bobek_XY and where exactly did i claimed you said you want this favor item INSTEAD of w/l ratio? and none of my statements imply such a thing. i say this favor thing is a worse indicator. having it additionally to the stats will fuck up game finding even more than currently where you often kick players

the point is not that they easaly die because they are directly attacked. they die pretty fast of colateral dmg. the stupid spirits swirl so much arround that allways get too near to towers. i find them dying due ooze and such things mcuh faster than nightcrawlers. may be wrong impression, but i don't like them.

no morph, no one is saying the put faked screenshots. you missed the point. but no screenshot in the world, be it fake or not can proof that a given player has caused the desync error. you can show that one insulted some other, but not that he was the reason for the desync. and regarding the insult, you still cannot see how was the onversation. it can be that the one shown insultig was the one got insulted all over the time until he couldn' hold off any longer.

if you still jump on favor points then let me suggest something different: for this messure take the avarage favor points the winning team had in total devided by the favorpoints the losing team had in total. why is this better? of course in one game you may get more or less favor points than you may be wortth with this formula, because it implies the points of your mates. BUT doing this over all matches you were in will even this out..

bad idea. what do you want? eliminating any minion build out of the game? comon... your lack of competence playing a strategy to conter want's you now to rome all what you don't know to handle?

i don't like that messuring the quality of a player by favor points. in fact i often observed that the most important player had the lowsert favor points at the end. this happends quite often for sedna, as she does not get kill so often, and even assists are sometimes only second. hence no gold award, no citadel upgrades award etc. hell, i had games were it was so clear that it was mostly my work that we won and had even less favor points than one of the losers. <p

you don't even need to fake it. wihtout the context it is worthless anyway. and proving a gamestate error being the work of a player by hacking with a screenshot is the most stupid thing i heared for quite a long time. proof by screenshot.... lol..... i don't want to wet my new pants too ;)

a bit offtopic, but when firt time tried to install .net 3.2 the installer showed the error: cannot continue installing due to the follwoing process blocking something: process was the installer itself. i needed an half hour to stop loughing.

i think i rember frogboy mentioning that he is to blame for the new items and the "balancing". they just send gpg what to do for this patch. but i am not 100% sure. think he said this in the partially changlog 1.2 thread.

i see the "favor"-stuff as an early extra motivation. it is not intended to be usefull later on. but i liked it much when i started.

i dont agree. why? this seems odd, but you are right and wrong. look: 1. for new players it is kinda motivation to achieve something. its like christmas earning a new item. i liked that. it motivated me at the beginning. they aren't heavy to get. you get favor pouints pretty fast. 2. new pople shouldn't fight singificantly more experienced anyway. thus no problem with that as it makes no difference. 3.now, problematic this seems only for very new player aga

open a match online with your friends. select a demigod you have not won online with him. set in the options level 20 to start with. start the game. you imediatly get the level 20 achievement. wait 3 mins and then the other concedes: you have the achievement (maybe both, the loser too). repeat that with the other demogods and you get every 3 mins a bunch of favor points, from achievements (win and lvl 20) and from the game itself. in maximal 10mins you have your botfl.

finally i can fully agree with polynomial. and i like to qote ovscenitor for this very true phrase: "People don't just health stack because it's mathematically superior to picking up DPS item, they do it because ability damage is so high than you can be killed very quickly if you don't do it."
