You get IP (favor points) for every game you play. You can shell out some money if you really want to buy all of the characters, etc (the temptation is always there for the quick win), but you can also just play for fun and earn enough IP to unlock a new char, etc. It's been very satisfying for me slowly earn enough IP to try out a new character, etc.
Once you play LoL enough it will become very similar as with Demigod. You will have almost every champion and needed runes.
First things first: which demigod do you think is the most difficult to play?
on noob lvl most difficult: queen, U-beast on mid lvl most difffcult: erebus, deamon assasin (never seen a good one in mid games.) on pro lvl most difficult: all of them, number one being Unclean Beast followed by Queen of Thorns (rarely see a good ub or queen on the highest gameplay) In general for starters good demigods are Regulus, Torchbearer and Sedna. All the others yo
Doesn't this happen to all games at some point? I'm actually wondering because the only other games I've played were command and conquer over LAN. It's just that demigod died a lot quicker than it should have because of the terrible support.
true that, but usually it's because the game got old and newer better games of the same genre have taken all players. It's just a really odd situation with Demigod. </p

Love the idea though. Might give it a go.
it's a great hack and slash game. Just overall really fun. I'm not sure how they decided to on the difficulty though. Some parts are ridiculously easy and others impossible :P

A really awesome game to check out is Vindictus. http://vindictus.nexon.net/ it's free and a lot of fun. It just gets a little bit repetitive.

I know that that may not be quite so true in high towers, but high towers are all about covering up player mistakes so it fits in with them.
I sooo agree. However in high lvl games high towers can force long and interesting games and give weaker characters more time to keep up with the tier 1s. But I still do prefer the normal settings.
