Does this happen for any type of shard? Or only a particular type?

The negative "military strength" modifier is caused by having a smaller fleet than them, as they view that as weakness. You need to match or surpass their fleet strength.
I like all of these ideas, but I thought I noticed that you could not build a road to a city that is 'indirectly' connected.
I would much rather the sovereign automatically be placed in the city garrison than be displaced like he currently is.
My scout was on auto-explore near another kingdom's border, and the border expanded around him. So I got the popup about declaring war or negotiating or leaving. Since I knew negotiations at that time weren't going to go anywhere, I selected "leave." But then the popup came up again. And again. And again (ad infinitum). Until I finally declared war, just so I would be able to do something. It appears that the border pop completely surrounded my
I've seen this a couple of times, but other times it hasn't happened, so I'm not certain what to report. I always play Parriden, so it's not just a factional thing.
It does not appear that a city's population decreases when demolishing housing. Then new housing just adds to the total, so the maximum population is higher than it should be. For example, I had two kingom huts (for a total population of 35). I then deleted one, and built a new one. Even though I still only had two kingdom huts, I now had a maximum population of 45, and the city leveled up a few turns later (upon reaching 40 population). I have not played aroun
I got a CTD upon defeating a Troll Leader. This has happened twice in a row, so I think there might be something going on. Anyone else seeing something similar?
[e digicons]o_O[/e] The mod is not dead. And thinking that it might be because there hasn't been any posts in a couple of days (as in, it hasn't been weeks without any word or sign or anything) strikes me as very foolish. Be patient. And chat with others if you'd like.
So far as I can tell, only population (taxes) add to income right now, and each road generates a caravan unit that has 10 gpt cost.
Actually this whole we-will-charge-you-when-we-ship is kind of annoying. If you are serious about buying it is much more convenient to pay up front, when you have the money and a working card, not in some indeterminate moment in the future. Also, you can't you Paypal because of it. Maybe Stardock should make a checkbox for the "Take my money now. Pretty please." option.
On the other hand, if something horrible should hap

While I agree the Golan-III would look better if it weren't sideways, I think it looks okay the way it is. I would much rather have the sideways Golan-III as a temporary mesh than the TEC starbase.

I just want to chime in to say that I think the Golan-III on it's side would be preferable to anything else. I realized why it would make sense while having a discussion about moons with one of my friends last night (it's funny how conversations can make you think of random things [e digicons]\o/[/e] ). So now I'd really like the model added.
Assuming you start from the Sins website, you can click on the Stardock logo on the bottom of the page. That'll take you to Stardock's website, where you can then go to the Support section for all sorts of help. And there is a 'Contact Us' page there as well. It's not difficult to find. I still love playing the original Red Alert from time to time. Yes it is old, but it is still very playable. But maybe I enjoy it more because it was my first introduction to the series (that I actually played - I do remember my best friend talking about the original game before). The only C&C game I haven't played is Renegade, and that's mostly due to the fact that I can't play many FPS games for any real length of time. All of the others
I seem to recall seeing something about a Supreme Commander 2, and a WWII game called R.U.S.E., but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
Which folder did you put them in, and did you try changing the 'save type' on the replay screen?
alt-clicking on one will select all of that type.
Just to clarify a point for me, Agent of Kharma - were you aware of your opponent's fleet composition that he could use to reinforce when you jumped your fleet into his empty gravity well?
I definitely second this request. And I love the pic.
What's the difference between disabling the random events and just choosing the neutral option, which usually has no penalty?
When the Vasari arrived in Trader Space ten years ago, they were confident in their ability to quickly deal with the locals. Initially, the victories were painless – the scouts alone procured the initial settlements – but as time went on it became clear that the local space-faring species would not be so easy to eliminate. Now, the Vasari are caught in a stalemate, and in some positions, on the verge of being pushed back. A state of panic ensues. A
Hm, strange that I can't change my name to 'Captain Sherbert' when there was no problem with 'Grand Admiral Sherbert' before. Oh well, I guess I don't need the space No your name did change, however you originally posted as Grand Admiral so that is what showed up on the recent posts list. If you look up at your post it is clearly under captain.
I was referring to the inability to put spaces in
