One more issue. The "Where should Groupy position the tabs?" setting is not working for MS Office Professional Plus 2016 applications. I have combine if possible setting selected and I changed to Always place above setting, but Groupy tabs did not change position on MS Office application windows, but they did change for Notepad windows.
Clicking the + button opens a new tab, but it opens C drive. It would be great if it opens whatever I option I configured in windows explorer to open when it shows a new window or at least have an option in Groupy to allow the user to specify what folder to open i.e., This PC (My Computer), Quick Access, C drive, etc.
Happens in both cases: automatic grouping via rule and manual grouping. Another issue I noticed just now was I had two windows explorer windows grouped. I closed one tab and the other one got resized to like a 1-inch by 3-inch rectangle and I had to manually maximize the window.
This happens with some application windows. If the affected application windows are in a group then this happens, but if I exclude them from grouping they behave normally (in terms of window size).
I can confirm this happens not only with windows explorer but with any application. Say I have a group of windows and all of them are on 2nd monitor. I move the group to 1st monitor and close the active window tab and the group goes back to 2nd monitor.

I opened 2 of my text files and grouped them. I then saved a new group using these two grouped tabs. When I recall this group from the 3 dot groupy menu, groupy opens two blank notepad files instead of my 2 text files. Is this intended function of groupy or a bug in the program? Thanks for responding, but I am very disappointed in the quality of Groupy. All issues I mentioned and from others on this forum about Groupy are very obvious and can be reproduced very easily. Another issue: I selected automatically group identical windows together unless in another group and I added windows explorer (explorer.exe) to the automatic application groupings as I want only windows explorer to be automatically grouped, but when I open notepad Groupy is automatically grouping all notepad instances also. Using Groupy with Microsoft Excel is a disaster. It freezes Excel window forcing me to close all open Excel windows. Also, Groupy does not work well with Remote Desktop Connection Manager. It seems to be ok for some time but then the session window menu becomes transparent and my mouse movement and mouse clicks are sent to the background session window instead of on the foreground menu.
