Anything you buy retail published or developed by Stardock you can download by inputing your serial under add registrations in Impulse. I have Sins, Demigod and GC2 retail but have never even put the discs in my computer, just added the registrations and downloaded/installed.

The Mucho Macho Edition was Tropico and it's expansion(and a strat guide). Tropico reloaded has those plus Tropico 2: Pirates Cove. I Still Like 1 better then 2, but I think the pack is plenty worth it.

I also play with a group all on skype with no problems. We all played in windowed mode at primary monitor's resolution, so no minimizing issues either :) .

I've been using the Bing vs. Google plugin for FF. It gives you results from both in side by side split screen. Pretty handy and also good for making your own judgments of which you prefer after a while, being able to compare them so closely.

The story I just saw had the headline of "M.J rushed to hospital not breathing", but after going into the story they said he had died. Could be one of those overzealous media types jumping the gun.

[e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e] Even though I've gotten used to working my way through most color issues in games(still can't find ten seperate custom colors for races in GC2 that I can distinguish) every little bit helps, and I hope the devs are watching. Besides easily losing DGs, I sometimes have to tell whos creeps are whos by the direction they are running [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

I use the same setup as KillaBart and use combo of the WASD and middle mouse grab/drag to scroll around. It takes some time to ween yourself off the archaic edge scroll, but between grab/drag and zoom to cursor it's the least efficient way to scroll now for me. :)

Sometimes it's not always what is seen publicly that gets you banned. A couple of years ago a guy got banned in the same manner from GC2 while it looked like he was just being slightly vocal with an issue he was having with the game. Turned out he had been sending abusive profanity laden email to Stardock employees also. Not saying that's what happened in this case, but just saying it isn't always so public as to the reasoning. Nice change of pace post woppin. I have played 20-30 games with a friend in Australia since release with no issues or lag. I'm in Missouri U.S. btw. We always connect at a solid 302-307 ping. Even when his net was throttled to 512k(dues to the ISP monthly limits in Aus.) we still had the exact same ping and played fine. Goes to show you don't even have to have great speed as long as your connection is stable. Unfortunately it is hard to tell within the first few seconds of connecting

Yes. A minor annoyance, but one you get reminded of everytime you start the game.

In fact I think I'm going to try to use that with a friend in a match we got planned later this evening since we both also have steam. Your actually pretty lucky dude. I have been around the GC2 forums for about three years and have seen him totally ban at least three people. At least one had their serials totally disabled and money refunded. Continuing to push it with posts like these isn't going to help.

I had preordered as much out of support for SD/GPG and their stances on gaming issues as anything, but was worried that I might not get much actual play out of it as I don't do multi. To give people an idea of what probably is the very minimum. I have been running it on an Athlon XP3000(2.16Ghz single core), Geforce 6800 128MB card and 1.5GB of PC-2100. It is playable on lowest setting, though it will slowdown at times. I plan on having a better PC before release.
