Oh man. that's good stuff, that's some good stuff. Damn. hehh, whoooo.. still kinda recovering here. I look at that and the disaster that teacher was just teasing, and say, "wow. Wow... Double wow. Wow backwards." Thanks a bunch for sharing that lil story GemCityJoe, it sure is great to get a good, hearty, laugh.

A few from my own collection... "If ten thousand people say a stupid thing, it's still a stupid thing." "Age is like a roll of toilet paper: it seems to go faster as you get closer to the end." "Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of a readiness to die... One must not merely cling to live, for then he will be a coward, and will not escape. He must not m

Yeah, you kinda tripped me up at the end with that whole aliens thing... anyway, in response to the main part of your article. Do you desire to be racist? If not then congratulations, since you can admit that you are, being honest to yourself is getting on your way. Im curious where you live, that can have a big influence (I guess that's quite obvious, te me at least). I live in Hawaii and to give you an idea of how I grew up, in intermediate school the friends I hungout with on the

I don't think that anyone should get married before the age of 25 though it would freak some people out, I agree completely with you on that Psychx. I personally am beginning to think it true what I once heard: When a boy turns 16, God comes down and removes his brain. Then when he turns 30 he final

BigDreamer - I emphatically agree with you that love is not circumstantial, similar to what Brad referred to in point #8 about not falling for one grande and admirable "act of love," but what is the consistant day to day actions tell you? "Falling in lust" would be much more fitting for what most believe is "falling in love." A small but powerful thruth that I want to add is this: Love is not a feeling. Difficult to accept.

Just a personal preference... To those who choose to madly criticize and throw rocks: cheer on for the educated derelicts. While many people with little education at all, but will good attitudes, and positive outlooks, excel and contribute something useful to this world. Dharmagrl - since you are a teacher, I understand you may actually may be taking some action since you potentially have a very strong influence in the lives of your students. And I'm not arguing that spelli

Point taken Messy Buu. I say if you are going to even criticize at all don't expect any sympathy or attention from me. Unless of course you apologies, and want to change, then you get my empathy. :) I like to take a quote from an all time favorite, I know!! Bambi! "If you don't have anything nice to say...then shut yo' yap!" (One-man's Edition editing) Anyway, PoetPhilosopher, thanks for this article, interesting polls to think about.

Just food for thought... If we were to look to the scientists to prove that the bible is wrong, you would find in the vast majority today that they believe it is true. They are finding the universe (meaning space, our planet and its atmoshphere, and humans) so vastly complex, but without the least bit of randomness. That means, we can explain what all this stuff is, but have no idea how it could have happened like it did. And it is obvious, in their eyes, that all these things are ma

BigDreamer - thats the truth. Averjoe - If I am misenterpreting what you are saying, then please tell me, it won't be a first that's for sure. But not even for the sake of debating, I have to make a few suggestions. Most of the reported miracles were not really that impressive anyway although raising the dead w

Oops, didn't mean to cut that off then. Anyway, Brad, it's I funny thing the way that is. Has the phenomena occured that "just so happens" the day you started, a friend bakes you brownies, and your other friend made way too much of that incredible bread pudding and is trying so hard to give it away, and everybody seems to be feeling unusually generous to you with food? oh yeah. Gotta love that bread pudding man. Good luck with that ;)

Maybe you didn't see my reply, but I suppose you were leaving a reply to an article of mine while I was about to read yours but ran outta time. I said I'd get back to it, and here I am. I'm always fascinated by peoples trials, no wait, I'm fascinated to here of people overcoming trials. I think, even if I can't relate directly to your story, there are bits and pieces that anybody can take from it and be uplifted and inspired to gain strength for their own struggles. Thanks for shar

This is my first experience with a blog site. Never really understood them much, maybe I still don't, but thus far it has been very interesting for me. Enough to keep me coming back. To try to stay on the topic, I can only say to JillUser, I don't appreciate habitual whining myself. I won't condemn it, because I have done my share. But I think ( and I hate to say this) but these "whiners" if there are any ser5ious ones here, are part of what makes

Boy, you know I have very often been incorrect, and even more I have played the fool, this is not at all a refute. I see your concerns, and in large part, I agree that in many areas, there is a dreadful downward spiral taking place. My first thought is this: If we are going to take a biblical standpoint, the time when the woman who was caught in adultery and was going to be stoned by the crowd comes to my mind. In case you aren't familia

Quelle coincedance! err, mmm. Je parle francais seulement un peu J'oublie ....the rest heh okay. Anyway, Jepel, that's a very interesting thought. In the ways you pointed out it does make sense, which initially surprised me because I've never thought of it that way. But when you consider the motive behind why somebody would go into the porn industry, it kind of
