Hey guys.
Just thinking of some skills that would be cool. I havent actually played Demigod yet, but i can still think of some skills. I have played dota for a while now, and this is not a dota vs demigod thread. Im just thinking that if you could look at the most popular and fun skills in dota why not impliment them in demigod?
Pudges hook for instance. It is basically a hook you throw in a straight line. The trick to this is that you cant target a hero, you have to target a certain point making it more difficult to actually hit the hero, since you have to calculate his whereabouts when the hook arrives and try not to hit any other creeps, friendly and enemies both. And if you do hit it you snare him and pull him back to you. This skill would obviously be useless if you dont have a strong melee hero.
Miranas arrow. Works very much like pudges hook but instead of snaring your opponent you stun him. The further you are away from your target the longer the stun lasts.
Stealth in general. Im guessing they allready have it or will add it in the future since it brings an entirely new tactical aspect to the game.
blink strikes/blinks. Need no explanation.
Zeus ulti. Global nuke that hits all opponents on the map.
Juggas ulti. Hits 8 random targets with your normal attack(will be extremely usefull facing 1 or 2 or even 3 heroes if you are powerfull enough. Similar spells as lunas and lichs that almost works the same way just with nukes instead, ofc making them weaker in endgame but stronger in early/mid game.
This is just examples i could go on and on. But ofc there are more to these spells. But one of the things i think dota has been succesfull in is that many heroes has 1 spell that the other spells he has is meant to support. for instance pudges hook. If he achieves to hook his opponent, his ulti is a channeling root that does dps, furthermore he has a spell called rot that deals equal dps around him to him and his opponents. so hook+root+aoe dam, hard to pull off but what a thrill when you do it:) If you can achieve to link the spells together in such a way i know i would be pleased.
1 last thing. With this post pls dont begin discussing what game is better. This post is only meant to give constructive ideas, not to decide if demigod/dota sucks or rox.
